Granddaughter loves it to bits
She loves taking photos and basically feeding it to grow. Don’t get it myself but then I am 70 🤣

Die if a cavity? No!
Ihave a review and read many reviews but feel I must really put this one correct. One person states to cure your Tama if a cold or toothache you can press buttons, miss and your Tame ‘dies if a cavity’ Never have I experienced or heard anyone, friends and forums state this! Also, yes you can put your hand over the front covering and conforming him and he very soon becomes well. So really, no deaths from toothache, cavity or cold. Maybe if you left it and ignored it your Tama might depart but that is not the fault of Bandai. I hate false information.I have added by edit to say I totally agree the Pix does not die from a cavity. Like you I hate false information. Thank you for putting this in.

Kids like them
Personally I'm not sure if they are worth the price, they aren't exactly easy to use and seem buggy with button presses. But the kids haven't put them down since I put batteries in. (7 and 5 yo boys)

Trickiest cover to insert batteries
Spent 30 mins trying to get the screw out and then gave up - it’s a waste of time. Terrible design! I’d like my money back please.
