Best on the market
Last year, my Girlfriend's car had a MOT advisory regarding rear underbody rust. Rather than let it rust through or sell it, I'll turn it into one of my project. So back in 2025, I bought 2 cans and spray the rusted area like mad. Some area are then painted with silver (colour of the car), others are in black (when the silver paint ran out). This year, the underbody rust advisory is gone. Although there are a few tiny spots were the rust seems to be back but nothing too concerning. Just need to do a few patches. Overall, very pleased with the results. Will definitely buy more cans if needed.

Good enough product for use on car, but should be supplied with extended nozzles
Reasonably decent spray, tried to use it inside the sub frame of my car and it worked okay. My only advice is to buy some extended nozzles as non are supplied with the sprays and they would be super useful. It looks like it’s doing the job, but only time will tell if it’s worked.

Does what It says on the tin, very well
Incredible, spray on and wait about 15 mins then assess. If it’s still brown then add another coat and repeat. It’s parculiar, it turns the rust into snot wich drips off of the metal. And leaves behind good stuff with some kind of protective clear finish ontop. Would recommend a dedicated chassis paint or something ontop but it does appear to be strong without

Its all that's holding my MX5 sills together
Bought this 3 pack to deal with the sills & subframe of my MX5. The car was 28 years old already, but had been sat in a barn for 14, and stored near the coast for the last 2. As a result, the sills were as rotten as you can imagine, and the subframe looked like it was made from bits of Cadbury flake. After a few hours of going over everything with a wire wheel (to get rid of the particularly flaky bits, but not all the surface corrosion), I gave a few good coats of this rust converter. Anything exterior / visible got the recommended 3 or so light coats, waiting to dry in between applications. The underside, however, got an unrelenting spray to the point where bolts began to drip the liquid coating on the floor. Definitely seems to have done a good job though! the exterior sections (like my wheel arch) that were treated had the rust turn a purplish-black colour, and I was able to spray over with paint+primer. a few months of rain and salt later, there doesnt seem to be any more bubbling or spreading! the underside seems to be a similar story, but I wouldn't recommend my specific application technique. if I was to go again, id definitely do as it says on the tin! (id have saved about a can's worth in the process) One thing of note, dont bother trying to use it on tiny stone chips that have started to rust. Spraying a regular application will cover a larger area with an epoxy-like substance (I suppose the sealant) that youll need a good amount of t-cut to sort out, and spraying a small amount into a pool and then trying to use a tiny brush / needle to apply over a small area will just result in sealing that area rather than converting the rust (I suppose the chemicals that actually convert the rust must evaporate away in the time it takes to spray and brush on separately). I figured this out by doing exactly the process I mentioned there, waiting 2 days, and seeing the stone chip I had targeted was the same bright orange colour through the clear layer on top, while the areas I sprayed normally had gone that dark purple-ish colour. TLDR: would recommend! does what it says on the tin

Excellent product that performed as descibded
I purchased this product not having used jenolite for many years using another brand instead , i needed a spray as using underneath my car on a project for surface rust ,prepare area with a wire bush and then spray it on ,clinging to rusty metal some drips but that was expected instead use the gel product from jenolite if cling is needing , it dryed well and leaves a black hard finish, that can be primed and painted if needed , its not cheap but its an excellent product for my needs , i will be waiting for a sale and purchaing more without question soon

Jenolite Rust Converter is a great product.
After a bit of research into what product was best for my needs, I opted for Jenolite Rust Converter Spray. Stone chips had broken through the paint around the arch areas of my campervan, looking unsightly. A quick rub down on the affected area with 80 grit oxide paper back to clean metal, masking tape applied to avoid any overspray, then follow the instructions on the can - shake contents for a few mins, then apply from around 25cms, leave to dry circa 15 mins, then re-apply. It's clear initially, but as it gets to work it turns black, after 2 coats a thick protective layer is formed, after fully dry / cured the epoxy feels tough and has good coverage, I'm letting it fully harden over this week, and will look to apply a top coat of colour matched spray paint, and clear lacquer top coat to blend it in, and will then apply 2 coats of the Jenolite on top of the colour matched spray paint for added protective layer as it is clear. Good product, good performance straight out the tin with minimal prep, instructions are simple to follow.

Antirouille

Works really well ... be prepared to leave whatever you spray outside in open air
Follow the directions carefully. Spray OUTSIDE. Prepare to leave whatever you're spraying OUTSIDE for a minimum of 2 days with any sprayed areas OPEN. The fumes will go away, but they are very strong. The warnings on the can make this very clear. I used it to spray rust in the spare tire well in the trunk of my car which didn't rust due to water intrusion ... nooooo - it was mice that made their home in there. Their 'biological leavings' ate through the paint and caused rust. Also applied to other various areas that made light surface rust after sanding in the process of repainting a car. Coats really nicely, had no problem putting an epoxy primer over the top of this stuff (I gave it a week). Worked exactly as advertised. The more work you put into preparing the surface, the better the product will work.
