Office Chair Tilt Mechanism Replacement, Tilt Control Mechanism 10.2"×6"(L×W)

I bought this because I was trying to replace the gas cylinder that was stuck to the original tilt mechanism. After days of struggle, I thought replacing the entire tilt mechanism might work. It did. This tilt mechanism fit perfectly with perfect alignment. I was able to install a new gas lift cylinder to this part and now I have a "brand new" chair for the fraction of the cost. This is much sturdier than the original part on my gaming chair. Between the new gas lift and new tilt mechanism, my chair should outlast me!

Part came in on time and was exactly what it said it was. Replaced the broken base perfectly. New chair for the 10th of the price! Thanks.

Good quality, easy install

Lasted for about a year of light to moderate use. I'm about half the rated weight. Failure of metal isn't even at a weld, just not that solid of metal. A bit disappointed. Maybe why its half the price of other replacement mechanisms.

This was an easy install. The hardest part was getting the old compressed cylinder out of the old base. Once that was done I had a functional chair again at a reasonable price.

bad tilt to buy will brake in less then 6 months of using it.

I bought this to replace a tilt mechanism (a replacement itself) that the metal had cracked badly and the tilt tension spring had broken off. No problem installing this one; it tilts easily and a little farther back than others I've had. I didn't buy a heavier duty one because I figure I shouldn't need it weighing 180 lbs. But since I broke two of them already, I'm not going to give this 5 stars since I don't know how it will hold up for the long haul.

Cheaper than a new office chair

Excelente producto, mi silla se había roto de la base y intenté arreglarla pero quedó peor. Entonces opté por cambiarle toda la estructura. Hay que medir muy bien el espacio entre tornillos porque hay diferentes medidas, así que esta fue adecuada para mi silla.Fue súper fácil de instalar, también le cambié el pistón y hasta el momento funciona la perfección. Pude rescatar mi silla.

Hasta ahora todo bien, llevo un mes aprox con el producto y no ha dado problemas aunque ultimamente no lo he usado mucho, ya veremos como va
