Buy Trading Market Dynamics Using Technical Analysis by Brown, Constance M (ISBN: 9780578382869) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Awful print quality. - I couldn't believe when I saw that the book has ADVERTISING throughout its contents. Almost every 20-30 pages you have advertising for IFTA or their joint ventures. This is the first time I see ads in a book. Not to mention throughout spelling mistakes, as well as badly positioned paragraphs. This feels like unfinished work, thrown into a book, not proof read and...well...advertising! I started my return process right away. I'm very disappointed with this purchase as I've had very high expectations. Review: I am very impressed by this book written by renowned technical analyst Constance Brown. It is a full colour publication of nearly 400 pages and covers the topic of technical analysis in a very comprehensive way. Starting with an overview of the markets, it goes on to discuss cycles, correlation of market relationships, market patterns and oscillators. It then builds on these basic topics by considering the important issues of entries and exits, position sizing and risk management. Finally there is an excellent section on managing the trade with practical examples. Written on behalf of the International Federation of Technical Analysts, this book goes one step further and puts the reader in touch with the many IFTA member Societies around the world. Your education in technical analysis has a great start by reading this book but the process is incomplete until you meet with other practioners and learn from their experiences and share your own. Learning technical analysis is a journey which is best undertaken shared with others. A great book filled with much information and personal insights. Thank you Constance Brown.

In the realm of technical analysis, a myriad of facets come under scrutiny, encompassing not only conventional subjects but also delving into less traversed terrains such as the labyrinthine corridors of Market Profile and the temporal intricacies of Time Cycles across expansive timeframes. While a multitude of literary tomes published during the first two decades of this century touch upon these subjects, it is the distinctiveness of this book that lies in its unrivaled emphasis on the art of expounding our analytical insights via masterfully crafted reports. In doing so, there emerges a profound opus that transcends conventional discourse, one that embraces the quintessence of the 'Market Professional' archetype. Through its profound focus, this unique and often overlooked facet, enshrouded in a veil of neglect prevalent in many contemporaneous publications within this genre, assumes a paramount role, bestowing this literary opus with extraordinary significance and profound import. This book is specifically tailored for individuals who wish to enhance their skills in writing technical analysis reports, particularly targeted towards readers with beginner to intermediate levels of understanding. By delving into the intricacies of market analysis, the book equips its readers with the necessary tools to produce professional reports that cater to the needs of this specific audience. The primary aim of the book is to empower its readers to effectively communicate their technical analysis findings to a broad range of readers, especially those who possess beginner to intermediate levels of understanding. Through comprehensive guidance and practical examples, the book offers insights on how to articulate complex market scenarios in a clear and accessible manner, catering to the needs of this specific readership. While the book serves as an excellent foundation for readers at more advanced or professional levels, it primarily focuses on providing a solid groundwork for those who will be reading the reports. By addressing the challenges faced by readers with beginner and intermediate skills in comprehending technical analysis, the book ensures that the reports generated by its readers are informative and comprehensible to this specific audience. Ultimately, this book serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking to enhance their skills in technical analysis report writing. It offers a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively communicate market trends and patterns to readers with beginner to intermediate levels of understanding, ensuring that the reports generated are well-crafted and accessible to this target audience."

I have been studying technical analysis for over 20 years and I can confidently say that this is as an essential item in your technical analysis library. It covers all the major bases including in depth market analysis using indicators, calculating high probability price targets using Fibonacci analysis and how to apply inter-market analysis to one’s own market of interest. The latter is vitally important in today’s complex financial environment, where are all world markets are inter-related. Connie Brown brings it all together in the final chapter with a monthly trader’s log, demonstrating the analysis performed and trades executed. This is a detailed outline of her thinking as the month progresses. It re-iterates how inter-market analysis, indicators and price targets are used to find trading opportunities. The entry points, stops losses and trade management along with trade exits are all detailed for one to study. This chapters moves theory into application. It is a very rare find among technical analysis resources. Especially from a hedge fund trader of Connie Brown’s caliber. This book comes highly recommended.

You'll get hit with a duty of nearly 40 dollars if you order this from Canada. Should be aware of that. But the seller did refund promptly. Cons: Many of the pages, at least 20, are ads for the IFTA. Considering the cost, I don't see how they thought it was a good idea to post ads within the book. Absolutely ridiculous. There are also quite a few spelling errors. Should keep that in mind. The meat of the technical analysis is roughly half way through the book so if you have problems focusing and keeping on track, you're not gonna like it. But it's worth the read. Pros: Connie Brown herself is a master of this game. Her work has been a game changer for me personally. Especially her understanding of Fibonacci Analysis. The second half of the book is full of useful information you can use immediately in your own analysis. Diving into how oscillators work, why they work and when they work is crucial and she addresses those points in the "Oscillators" chapter (5). All in all, the only complaint I really have are the ads. Otherwise, the book is without a doubt worth it.
