Excellent replacements for my 20+ year old satellite JBL Creature II Speakers!! I had to make some slight adjustments to the plastic housing that seat the speakers (so I could reattach the speaker wires) but after that, I put them back together and I couldn’t believe the sound quality!!! A+++

Got these for my strawberry imac g3. they don't specify they worked for this machine, but they do. overall i can't complain but there are definitely pros and cons to these speakers. while not perfect, they are pretty much the only option for some devices as harmon kardon discontinued the actual replacement speakers a long time ago. pros: 1. they are not overly expensive, which is good. 2. they sound good enough, while nothing compared to the original harmon kardon drivers in the imac dv originals they do bring an old computer back to life with sound. cons: 1. they sound a bit anemic compared to the original imac g3 dv speakers. the drivers are not as deep in base and can get a little distorted the louder they are turned up. 2. the installation of the speakers was kinda tricky as you needed to support the speakers enough to even close the box the speakers fit in. the drivers are a lot smaller in the back and depth.

Put these in our old iMac G3 which I'm restoring and they fit and they make sound but the sound is pretty tinny / harsh. They work. But, not great.

This speaker is awesome. I had to replace the right speaker in my JBL Creature II. I found this speaker and it worked perfectly. I'm back in business. It saved me $$$$ Thank You

These speakers rattle as soon the power exceeds 200 mw, maybe ok to use them as tweeters and using a high pass filter, but for normal use they don’t meet the specs they have on their listing.

To simply put it, these speakers get just as loud as the original Harman/JBL but it lacks bass. You wouldn’t notice it until you heard them side by side.

Bought a used set of Creature speakers and the satellite speakers were toast so after watching a Youtube video, I bought these as replacements. The fit was almost perfect with only a couple of modifications needed. Took me about 15 minutes to change them out and they sound brand new.
