Pre de Provence Artisanal French Soap Bar Enriched with Shea Butter, Milk, 150 Gram

Love this soap. Very luxurious and moisturizing on skin. French milled soaps last WAY WAY longer than American soaps so even though it seems "pricy" the bars last several months if you keep them in a "draining" type soap dish. Scents are nice and not "cheap" or overpowering.

This bar has enough scent, subtly satisfying. It lathers well enough to shave, and to rinse feeling Clean. There is a skin tingling texture to the surface that promotes the feeling of being Clean. AND, it seems to last (because it’s properly milled). I look forward to trying the other versions. It will take awhile though, and that’s okay! Besides, Pre en Provence is such an enjoyable town/region!

There are a couple things I appreciate about this soap. It has a nice mild smell and works well. There have also been no complaints or issues with the eczema people in the house. Those are the most important things.The gripes are minor but what I don't like is that the smell started off as--still a mild scent--but came on very strong, through the whole level of the house. It has faded considerably in the 2 months that we've had it, though, and it does not scent your hands, both of which I appreciate. It is a little difficult to rinse off (we have pretty soft water). The packaging was kind of sad and the bar was a bit mangled and had partially melted and re-solidified when we got it, so it was not pretty-looking (it shipped in February in the northern hemisphere, so it wasn't hot during shipping).All things considered, this is a good product and worthwhile, and I would recommend it.

My guess is they made this with pure homemade artisanal essential oils, or I don't know how else they got the fascinating, marvelous, and consolidating smell. It has a perfect texture finish, too. I rub my face with it and smell the foam out of it because it takes me to the most beautiful lavender garden (I am extremely susceptible to smells), trust my sensitive nose, and if you love lavender, get this product!

This soap and others I have ordered are absolutely "luxury!" The aroma and the soapiness are exceptional and well worth the cost. I use daily and have given as gifts with always raves from the recipients. Lasts a long time also.

I was looking for a very fragrant freesia bath soap. This is very faint and very little likeness to freesia. Disappointed in the product as far as that goes. The soap does moisturize the skin

I got the ocean breeze (blue) this time and I have tried other fragrances in the past I also like. But this is one of my favorites. I could get these locally for about the same price, but this was more convenient. As others have said in their reviews, the packing wasn't great (understatement), and it did arrive with the corner of the soap dinged. I wasn't putting it out for guests, so that didn't matter much to me. But good for people to be aware before ordering.

The smell in these soaps are true to smell..it lasts through to end of the bar. And the bar last a long time I use it with my puff and the suds are great..you soyls try them

I'm a repeat purchaser of made in France soap. I found the fragrance a little too minty and not as authentic smelling as some of the others I've tried from this brand. (I'll stick to lavender and verbena moving forward.) It was ok for my sensitive skin and seemed to moisturize well.
