Pre-Algebra, Homework Practice Workbook (MERRILL PRE-ALGEBRA)

Great resource for practice

Very good selections of practice worksheets for each section to work independently or along the text book.I find it very helpful for summer math practice.

I use this book for my 7th grader who has been until now, doing most of his work online or on a laptop. The paper and pencil method has improved is memory, problem solving ability and importantly, his grade.

I look for practice problems for my kids, and sometimes the same topic is not online. This workbook follows the textbook, and it comes with many pages per chapter. That is good. But as others point out, this booklet does not come with answers. As a parent, and not rich enough to afford a tutor class, this is about all I can do. It is a shame that the publisher has forgotten the parents.

These sheets don't come with an answer sheet. Otherwise, great for homework. I just don't like to do the work myself. One of the worksheets is in the textbook but not the other one for each lesson.

I would give one star for the price,it was very reasonable. A second star, because it was brand new and not used. A third star for receiving the package early. When considering purchasing this book, someone should have mentioned that an answer key is not provided with the book. You have to purchase Chapter Resource Masters for Glencoe Algebra. This has the answers, secondly, the masters series is sold per chapter, which means you would have to purchase 13 separate Master books for the answers ( the workbook has 13 chapters). If I felt like sending the product back, I would. I'd rather purchase another workbook instead of purchasing 13 more books just to find the answers. Due to this I have to rate this workbook at 1 star.

If you're looking for a book to help give your students practice with area of difficulty this is the book for you. It has proved to be great for my students.
