Have used this for a trailer hitch lock and has held up great for a year.

Our two camping coolers have an optional lock plate but regular locks aren't long enough. After a lot of searching, we found these. They are "marine" which we hope means waterproof. It will take several times in the rain to find out if that's true. The keys (all the same for both locks) are thin metal, easily bent, but they will do. We're hoping to prevent intrusion by raccoons and bears more than fellow campers, and these look strong enough to meet our needs.

I bought this for an outside gate. I am hoping it does not rust like it says. I just purchased this so have not had it through the winter and rain. My previous lock rusted so bad I could barely get it unlocked. So far, pleased. Good quality.

Trash. The key broke off inside the lock after first use.

3 stars because they ARE 4 keyed alike brass padlocks. That said, they could be the cheapest flimsiest locks I have ever seen. I can pretty easily bend the shackle enough to pop it open with my bare hands. I bought them to go through my trailer tongue latch preventing it from popping undone. They do fit and will function for that purpose.

I bought this as an outdoor lock. Brass is perfect as it won't rust. But the lock is unlockable now. It just doesn't click into the groove anymore. There's no visible damage. Just shy of 1 year... Will not buy again.
