4711by Muelhens Eau de Cologne Splash 6.8 oz

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law, after she specifically requested it. She was thrilled when it arrived and immediately put it on.....it smelled beautiful! I hadn't smelled this scent since the early 1980's, and it was much nicer than I remembered! Admittedly, I was smelling it on two extremely sweaty visiting Europeans who were hiking at Yosemite National Park and had overpowering body odor they were striving to cover up with 4711 (NOT nice!) But, this is a classic scent that is truly beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light and lovely scent!

I bought it because on NPR they said it was the same scent that was used by Napoleon and his army. Still made by the same company. It has the scent of fruit and spices.

The smell is just very pleasant, clean and fresh. It takes me back to my childhood when 4711 was the cologne of choice for us. The only drawback is that it doesn't last too long.

I like perfumes that are light and fresh and 4711 delivers on this. It has been around for ages, so something must be right.

I bought this because I remember my uncle using it when I was growing up. It is as I remembered: Light, floral but not overly so, a great change of pace from 2 other fragrances I use regularly. That it is light is fine, but it fades faster than I would like - although no faster than most any other fragrance in the same price range. It will get you through an afternoon or a date effectively, but re-application is needed after 4 to 5 hours. Overall I am quite happy with it and will doubtless purchase it again.

Un classico della profumeria, un profumo che ricordo fin dall’infanzia.

El olor en si no esta mal, si hubiese pagado 3/4€, pero es que es un agua de baño de bebe tipo denenes, petit cheri... pero en un frasco de cristal y etiquetas todo muy retro y molon. Tarro de 200ml 18€ una barbaridad
