Light, but with capacity. Modified to make it smaller
I love the bag design. I can keep everything inside without fear of it falling out. It's a bit wider and taller than credit cards, which gives you some slack to open it and get your fingers around something inside. It's also just tall enough to fit US bills folded in half. Super thin and small when you don't pack it, but I'm sure you could fit a lot inside.Personally I think the plastic id slot is pretty useless (with all wallets not just this one), and I want to be as minimal as possible. I was able to cut out the platic piece since it's sewed separately, and cut off the key ring fabric, which has made it even lighter and thinner.I'd love to see them make a version that's basically just a bag of the same size, but only one zipper on top and a divider in the middle. Having two zippers 1. adds some buik and 2. isn't that useful. Sometimes you open the wrong one, then have to zip it back, flip it over, and then unzip that. Do one zipper, and put a very short fabric loop off the side for a key right and it would be perfect.

Great minimalistic wallet
Great little wallet! Minimalistic but has enough room to hold the basics like cards and money. Great value for the price. You don't even notice it's in your pocket which makes it incredibly comfortable to carry. It comes with a keyring attached to the wallet so you can hook it into whatever you need to and not worry about losing it. Looks great, feels great, would recommend.

Solid, slimfit profile that holds exactly what I need it to hold.
Absolutely perfect so far. If your needs are like mine (just want a slim profile wallet to hold an ID, credit card, bank atm card, health ins, key fob, and a few bills), this is absolutely fantastic. It is so slim with those items in that I can't feel it in my pocket at times. Slam dunk when I go to the amusement park and put the wallet in a zipped pocket of my shorts while riding a big league roller coaster. Definitely recommend it to those looking for the same type of thing I wanted.

Before and after 2.5 years of use
I'm replacing my first Chums Surfshorts wallet after about 2.5 years. It's been an everyday wallet and a travel wallet and thoroughly used (but not abused). You can see a new one on top and the old one under it.Pros+ Thin and lightweight - This one replaced a slim nylon billfold so I could easily put bills and a few coins in the zippered pocket. It works great for that and I fold some bills (about 6 or 7) and place them in the rear pocket. If you slimmed down to 1-2 cards and a couple of bills, this is easily among the lightest wallets available.+ Fabric quality is great. No tears or issues. You can see the old one is hardly worse for wear after 2.5 years.+ I can get about 7 to 8 cards comfortably in the wallet and I use the divider to separate a license and insurance cards from credit cards.+ The key ring gives you flexibility - whether you're attaching it to keys or want to tether it inside a bag to a key leash, put it on a lanyard or run some kind of security cord to your belt, it's strong enough for average use and the thick grosgrain loop hasn't showed any signs of tearing. I have removed the ring but ended up wanting it back and put it back on - no issues at all.+ The current price for this wallet is pretty nice, given the functionality.+ Colors range from low key (I also picked up the black and grey one - I like it best) to obnoxiously bright. And you might actually want a bright colorway if you don't want to easily lose or forget it.Cons- The zippers: The back zipper is totally fine, but a coil broke on the front ID/card pocket zipper. The wallet is effectively done at this point. I wasn't able to bend the coil back or get the slider back on and the effort to fix it would have been more than the price of a new wallet. This zipper saw tons of everyday use. This could have been a one-off issue. I'll have to see how the new wallet does.Other thoughts* This is NOT a waterproof wallet. It's durable and would dry quickly but the contents inside are going to get wet if you immerse it in water.* This is NOT RFID protective. Slip it inside an RFID protective pouch, money belt, or bag pocket if that's important to you.Four stars - It's a fantastic value for money. But I need to see if my first wallet's zipper failure was a one-off or whether it fails again after a couple of years.

Simple and fits the bill
Simple, thin, water resistant and light. Fits the bill when all you need is an ID, credit card or two and cash/change. I use it when walking and running.

This gift hit a home run!
I got this for my teenage grandson who needed a minimalist wallet to hold his cash bills and coins. It is not bulky at all like a regular sized or leather wallet and is the perfect size to fit in a pocket or a purse. It has 2 separate zippered sections, one that can easily fit a credit or gift card with a drivers license or ID card, and cash in the other zippered section. He loved it! When shopping for a wallet in department stores for him, I noticed this minimal style being sold in leather in the Men’s Dept for those who need not carry more than 2 cards at times. Maybe I’ll buy a leather one for the dad! I highly recommend.

Favorite pouch for keys, cards, and a few notes
I have been using this pouch for years. It is well made and fits into one's pocket. It is durable, until one overstuffs it... and then the zipper goes. And then I order a new one. I just like the size and the design and do not plan of switching to anything else. It has 2 sides, each has a zipper, and a good quality keyring. Never has a seem broken, and the zipper problem is MY fault. The pouch is not roomy (that's the purpose of it) and it gets tight if one carries too many cards, but having just a few main ones at the time and it works just fine. One side has a plastic window, a perfect place for one's driver's lisence. I highly recommend these pouches. I only wish that the price would be a little lower.

Has lasted years.
I've been using this wallet for almost 4 years. I don't carry a purse, but instead keep a chained wallet in my pocket. The keyring allows me to chain my wallet to my belt loop, so I don't have to worry about losing my wallet, or it being pick-pocketed. Two zippered pockets are the perfect size for plenty cards without being thick, and the slip pocket it great for that emergency $20. The wallet & stitching has held up, with no rips, tears, or breakage. I thoroughly recommend.
