Update 6/19/2023. I had an issue with the first unit I received not fully shutting off one of the valves/zones (mine has 2 zones). The company replaced the unit and the new one is working great.Overall, I'm pleased with the wifi sprinkler timer unit. I placed the hub (small square block) inside my house on an interior wall close to the main outdoor unit. It worked perfectly with my wifi setup on the other side of the house will little issue. The system runs on a normally rotating schedule to water my garden and I can control it while I'm away using my phone.The app interface is a little cumbersome but manageable. I'm not sure why it needs so location permissions, that does concern me. I'm also not confident that it will automatically skip runs if it rains; I feel like it that is a manual process.

I tried the Bluetooth version and for some reason the water valve will only turn on when my phone was nearby. This WiFi version totally fixed that issue for me and so far it works great after 6 months of use. The quality feels great.

So far this thing works great. Just installed and got it setup. Biggest complaint is the setup instructions for the connected hub. They are pretty awful. What should be a 5 min setup took 45 just trying different steps. Instructions are awful.I have not had an issue with it losing connection (yet) so other than the painful connectivity on setup, no complaints.

However, as a customer who purchased this product, I have to express my dissatisfaction with its performance.After just a few weeks of use, the timer broke, leaving me with a non-functioning device. As a result, I was unable to use it as intended, and my garden suffered from inadequate watering. As a customer, I expected a product that would function as advertised and provide long-term reliability. Unfortunately, this was not the case with the Diivoo Smart Water Timer.While it's possible that I received a defective product, it's concerning that it failed so quickly. I'm disappointed that I invested time and money into a product that did not meet my expectations, and I do not feel confident in recommending this product to others.In conclusion, the WiFi Sprinkler Timer 2 Zone, Diivoo Smart Water Timer for Garden Hose, did not live up to its promises and left me with a negative experience. As a customer, I value reliability and quality, and this product did not deliver on either of those expectations.

I was very excited to get the Diivoo 2 zone wifi timer. After installing using the Bluetooth, tested the functionality and it worked good. But, it annoyed me that the connection to the device was dropping too often . I had scheduled zone1 at 5 am and zone2 at 5:30 am . Before sleeping I checked the weather and it was 80% rain next day. So I applied the 2d rain delay and the scheduled showed that the next irrigation was after 2 days. Next day morning at about 8 am I went out to my back lawn and saw the sprinkler on. The water was over flowing and I was frustrated that the sprinkler was on for at least 2.5 to 3 hours . Could not access the app for some time as it was having connection issue. Possible reason that the sprinkler kicked in and then the app lost connection and could not shut off. Did not know what else to do. Went thru product reviews here with rating 1 and figured most of the consumers complaint about the app connection. After spending some more time, figured the mistake that I did and most of the people who are complaining must have made.The first screen shot shows 2 devices. One is the Gateway and the other is Diivoo smart dual water timer. Everybody is frustrated about the 2nd one which is the bluetooth install. This one drops often and you cannot access this remotely (Most of the complaints) . You need to first add the Gateway, which is your wifi connection . Open the gateway and then add Diivoo smart dual water timer as shown in the 2nd screenshot. This never drops and you can access this remotely using internet.The app issue does not exist if installed correctly. However, based on the other complaints I am worried about the plastic connector that many people mentioned it broke over the time.

Set it up to run 4 sprinklers in our garden, easy set up and it worked flawlessly!When syncing the hose connection unit to the wifi controller, the “”button” you need to push is actually the left toggle tab. hold it until the red lights on the toggle pad flash. Instructions just say to push a button! The toggle pad to select individual zones is not a button. It’s a toggle pad! Other than this, it set up easy. .

At first, I was not able to use it very well, but Diivoo support was prompt, and videos to set it up correctly on their website was very helpful. Now i can go on vacation and know my garden is getting water, I can even add a watering while out on the road via the wifi.

The media could not be loaded. Lasted maybe a solid season before internal leaking of the unit started. There's no way you can take it apart to do a self repair either. The leak I found was coming from the battery compartment on the inside of the unit. I didn't take it down during winter as I live in the south but I suggest you should to maybe avoid this.
