After all the Amazon shopping I have done, this purchase was my most worrisome. A chair? Recliner? Sight unseen? You must be crazy! Well, I finally took a chance and ordered it.First, the assembly was a breeze. My cat could have done it, if he hadn't been busy napping. It's arrival was via fed-ex and they brought it right to the porch. 15 minutes after I had it in the house I was ready to try it out. Fantastic. Just the right size--perfect, just like 3 bear syndrome: not too big, not too small...just right. Very comfortable. The brown colour is very, very dark--in fact I wondered if wasn't black, but no, it was brown and once I got it set up, it looked good and accented the rest of the tan furniture. I could not be happier. This is not an expensive piece of furniture, but it was just what I was looking for. I am so happy with it. In fact, we might buy a second one.

I read the reviews and some made me a little concern with what I had just ordered.However, for me, this chair is the PERFECT size. I am 6' and 200 lbs and wanted a chair that was not one of the big, puffy, marshmallow type recliners that always seem to dominate a room. This chair is exactly what I wanted. I didn't want the seat back to tower above my head and look giraffe-like. This chair is narrow...I would say it is very similar to the width of an coach airline seat. The back and head-rest are very soft and comfortable while the seat is slightly firmer. The top of the head-rest extends just to the top-back of my head, giving excellent support when upright and reclined. The chair is attractive but it visually does not dominate. It is PERFECT for me and my small room. I do not expect this chair to last forever but for the price a 2-5 year life is a great bargain.

I soooo wanted to love these chairs as they were the perfect size. But they are AWFUL!!! The armrest are so low that they may as well not be there. The seats do NOT stay reclined unless you hold it back with your legs. And that’s not comfortable AT ALL. I can’t return them because I already burned the boxes before I experienced them. If you are the LEAST bit overweight you will not fit in them. At best they are for a child’s room or child’s tv chair. I think what I’m most upset about is the reviews prior to my purchase. They aren’t truthful. I have asked every single guest that I’ve had (20+) and every single one of them said the exact same thing. I bet I won’t be able to sell them for $25 a piece in a garage sell or on market place!!! They SUCK!! And I reallyyyyyy was optimistic and gave them time before writing this review. THEY GENUINELY SUCK! Please don’t think I’m just a disgruntled human. I NEVER write reviews. But I just really don’t wont anyone to spend the money and be just as dissatisfied. They look good!! But you better weigh less than 100 lbs!!! TRUST ME. Oh! And furthermore, they are NOT leather.

So let's talk about the good first. It seems really sturdy and well made. The chair itself in seat mode is very comfortable. Even with the cons I have, it's a good chair, and a great value. It requires minimal effort to recline, and can recline to pretty much flat.But it's the recliner aspect of this chair where I run into problems. The bottom of the recliner doesn't extend out, it just goes up. As a taller gentleman this leaves my feet just dangling out in the air with the chair itself only reaching halfway up my calves. This limits my recliner time as my feet start to fall asleep without proper support. Also, the leg rest itself can barely handle the weight of my legs. I have to sit all the way back to keep my legs elevated, and if my dog jumps on the chair to snuggle in between my legs, the chair folds down.All in all, it's a fine chair, especially for the money, but not great for taller people.

The package came as 2 parts. Attaching the back rest was easy job. The leg pads/bushed given are ok but had trouble with 1 out of 4 as it would not screw in easily. Had to force in using nose pliers. The recliner looks neat. Fabric is as per the price meaning it is comfortable. One thing to note is, the back rest did not fit in as shown, it is slightly tilted sideways and not straight. But this has not created any problems for resting. As many customers have written, hand rest is not at all sturdy and even when my 4 yr kid just pulls it from the side, the shakes. So have to be really careful as it might break anytime. Also as many have pointed out, the recliner sometime struggles to stay in the position-2 and leg rest keeps dropping down depending on the leg weight.Overall, this is a good buy for the price paid.

I was a little bit weary at first when I decided to buy this product since it had no reviews. I decided to take the chance, however, since it was cheaper than other similar products and the seller had a good reputation. I am so glad I bought this chair. It is very easy to assemble; all you have to do is insert the back rest into the seat and screw the feet into place. Once it is inserted it is pretty sturdy. The chair is pretty easy to move around, which is a big plus for me since I live in a studio and have to frequently move furniture around to make space. The seat is very comfortable and all you have to do is apply weight to the back rest to trigger the recliner. The chair arrived in good packaging and damage free. It is perfect for small living spaces and consuming media.

Amazing recliner. I had gotten this to replace a cumbersome futon I was using in my studio and the size is perfect. I am 5'10 and 190LBS and have broad shoulders, and I fit this chair excellent. The quality is outstanding for the price, It has leather texture and feel and the stitching is impeccably done. I looked around underneath and inspected it too, it seems with its mostly metal frame that it's going to hold up for a long time. The padding is excellent, I tried sitting at different angles to see if I could feel a metal bar or something and I cannot, it is VERY comfortable. The reclining mechanism is great, it has 2 modes, semi and full reclining, and from trying it out, I can tell you that I will definitely be able to sleep on this.
