I bought this with a little wood handled round brush. My dishes are so CLEAN! Literally squeaky clean. No film, no water spots, no grease residue. This works so much better than dawn or any of those name brand dish soaps. I just use a tiny bit on the ends of the brush and it works so well. The only downside is you can put a couple of drops in a pot and fill with hot sudsy water to soak. So I purchased an all natural liquid soap and I use that for those purposes. I even use this soap to clean the counters and stove top. It cleans amazingly well. No film or residue left over and I use such a tiny amount. This is gonna last me forever.

Other solid dish soaps were hard to rinse off and sometimes left glassware looking dull. I like this soap though. No residue, cleans very well and is sudsy without the SLS and usual chemicals. Solid dish soap takes some getting used to. Instead of a squirt onto a sponge or into the sink (I use handmade dishcloths), I just rub the bar onto the sponge or cloth. I leave the bar in the dish pan too while filling with hot water. This makes the water a little cloudy so you know the soap and is in there even if there are not the usual amount of suds like what you would see with the chemical laden popular dish detergents. I recommend this product. It is made with healthier ingredients, cleans as well as the usual dish soaps, better for the environment (at least as to packaging and absence of plastic) and will be on my shopping list.

The scent is nice and it does what it says it's supposed to. The wood under bristles has gotten very worn down already though and it's hard to get food particles out of the bristles. Not crazy about how it looks now, but still useful

I love this soap! The soap is foamy and cleans my dishes to perfection. There isn’t any residue on the dishes, smells great, and my hands on the second day already feel amazing compared to other brands of store bought dish soap. The best part is it that it is not toxic AND works like charm with other brushes!

This product is the one you need!!! I love the scent and the all natural materials used for it! And don’t get me started on the quality and the value for it aswell!! So affordable! I’m definitely buying this again to replace it!

This product is horrible and I ended up returning it. Why you might ask. The soap leaves a lot of film on the dishes. The wood soap try slides around a lot. The brush was the best part. Just not worth it.

I loved using the bar of soap. It lathered up nice on the sponge. Pots and pans came very clean. The drinking glasses had spots on them. I think when they make the soap they add an oil to it. Not sure though. I am looking for eco friendly bar soap for doing dishes instead of dish soap in a plastic container. I thought this bar soap was it. Not yet. Too bad.

I've been reducing my use of plastic year after year, and this is the reason I decided to try this product. It's terrific!! It washes even the greasiest pans with no problem. I was surprised that someone said it only lasted them 2 weeks! Perhaps it was sitting in a little water? We keep ours on a small wooden stand with slots so that water doesn't accumulate around it - I think that's very important. Otherwise, the water will erode it quickly. Ours lasted almost 3 months! And that's with three of us using it several times a day. (We don't have a dishwasher, and we cook a lot, so it gets used many times a day.) I wet a little scrub brush and then brush it over the soap a couple of times. The bar hardly gets wet that way, and I think it helps it last a lot longer. I also use it for washing my hands when I'm in the kitchen. What I am frustrated about is how Amazon packaged it. The first time I purchased it, it arrived in a small cardboard box with other items. This time, even though I ordered it with other items, it was delivered by itself in a ridiculously LARGE PLASTIC BUBBLE ENVELOPE. Argh. Really frustrating for it to arrive in that much plastic, when avoiding plastic is why I purchased it in the first place. But I should mention that its original packaging is very minimal. Just a small, thin paper box. Anyhow, I'm going to try to purchase it locally so I can avoid these large plastic bubble packs. It's a great product, that does a very good job and lasts a long time.

I tried the Nellie's dish butter first and while I liked it, I found that it left a residue on the dishes if they weren't rinsed really well. I don't experience that with this dish butter, it rinses away great, it lathers really nice and it lasts for months. I bought this the first time in February 2024 and it finally ran out in June 2024! The scent is nice and light, not overpowering. I definitely recommend this brand over Nellie's and if I can, I prefer to support a small business. If you have a square Nellie's dish for their dish butter, this bar fits inside of it as well.

I have tried several bar dish soaps and this is by far my favourite. It works well on dishes, is very gentle on my sensitive skin, and smells amazing without being overpowering. I love the natural ingredients and the waste free packaging. The bars tend to break into small pieces at the end, which are hard to use so I end up wasting the last little bit, which is unfortunate considering the price. I would love this product even more if the blocks were a bit larger for the price.
