Acer HA220Q bi 21.5" IPS Full HD Monitor Ultra-Thin Design,Black

The Acer Full HD 21.5 in widescreen is a monitor that does not fail to impress.... as my first impression after pulling it out of the box.... WOW, this thing is light! then I noticed how incredibly thin the screen is.... at just 1/4 in. it is easily the thinnest I have seen.And the wow factor doesn't stop there.... as thanks to the 1920x1080 resolution, the 100 million to 1 contrast ratio & the 4ms response time, you cannot help but be wowed by what you see.This monitor delivers what it promises, which is an awesome viewing experience.... the picture is colorful, bright & sharply defined.This monitor is perfect for watching movies, playing games & reading!.... yes, thanks to it's high definition & sharp contrast, it is easy one the eyes.The Acer Full HD comes with just about everything you need.... unless you want to connect with an HDMI cord that is.Set up is a five minute plug n play snap, everything goes together easily & intuitively.... which is a good thing as the instruction manual is a bit hard to read.One nice thing I noticed, is how you can easily adjust the monitor's angle as it offers little resistance.... many of my older monitors are quite stiff & hard to get the proper angle.I hooked mine up to a docking station/laptop configuration using an HDMI cable so I can use the laptop with an external keyboard while the lid is closed.... & it is a really nice set up [see pic]And look at that price!... you get a whole lot of screen at a very reasonable price IMO.Acer can pull off quality deals like this because they are a powerhouse in the monitor market, and deservedly so..... they have produced some of the finest computer monitors money can buy for as long as I have had a computer, I know... because I have been buying them ;)So all in all.... I say go all in, in other words I highly recommend this monitor... & rank it a 5 star product.

This monitor is what I bought as my first monitor, paired with my first PC build. This monitor is thin, has little to no frame, and the I really like the buttons on the bottom tight hand corner of the monitor and how they are hidden on the underside of the monitor. It has a little indicator showing if the monitor is turned on, off, or in sleep mode. Acer could've added at least one USB port on the back of the monitor, but I can't really complain when a quality monitor is less than $100. The monitor stand is very sturdy, and it leaves a lot of space left on my desk for my keyboard. Just a little something I wanted to say, The chrome coating on the Acer logo reflects the RGB lights coming from my keyboard and I think it looks gorgeous.

I have owned 2 of these monitors for almost a year. I have no complaints about functionality of them--I use them for drafting work hooked up to my laptop. Picture quality/clarity is excellent for what I need to do. The other day, however, one of the monitors had a weird purple splotch in the corner. I thought it was ON the monitor so I tried to wipe it off (I have kids so I thought it was purple paint or something) and then the "bleed" went down the screen on the inside and the screen started flickering. Now it's flickering and frozen. Acer has been fine, I just opened a case to get it repaired since it's under warranty, but I have to pay to ship it to them! It's only a $90 monitor and I fear that I'm going to ship it, for some reason they're going to tell me the repair isn't covered, and then I'm out shipping + the cost of a new monitor anyway.

Great price, great screen, *very* light and thin, almost impossibly so, but strong and well-built - delivery was on time, as promised.Only drawbacks!) controls are a bit funky, uses a row of buttons located on the right bottom side of the screen, not that easy to use, but I already have larger Acer screen, was somewhat familiar with the Acer control layout2) the screen has only VGA and HDMI inputs, no DVI or DisplayPort (DP), and oddly, did not come with HDMI cable, only VGA cable - this was not an problem for me, I wanted the display for VGA and HDMI, and I already have cables, but if users need other inputs, will need to buy converters, or consider a different monitor.

I had an old Samsung 18" monitor that was sort of slim but still sort of clunky and I tend to watch a lot of my Netflix or Prime on the PC instead of going in the den and messing with the TV but certain new shows just looked horrible so after a little browsing I decided on this unit and am very happy after only having it barely a week. Just enough size improvement due to limited space and the LCD screen clarity is brilliant. From the time I opened the amazon box to having it hooked up and the screen auto detected was less than 10 minutes.

The monitor itself is fine for the price. The only problem is that it tends to lean slightly forward on the stand, which is not adjustable. I solved the problem easily by putting a pair of inexpensive rubber door-stops under the base of the stand to make it lean backwards slightly (and the black color makes them look like they're part of the base, so it's a perfect fit), but be aware. So 5 stars for the monitor, but minus 1 for the stand.

First ever PC mater I have a guy came out of The package perfectly no scratches no dance no cracks or is shipped directly on time picture quality is absolutely perfection for any novice gamer can definitely tell the difference between the TV and this monitor even family has told me the same thing works perfectly with both Consol and PC set up would definitely recommend that you grab this

Had to replace a failing monitor on short notice. The panel looks great for the price and zero issues with dead pixels or backlight bleed. The panel is super thin. No cats allowed around it because I don't think it would survive tipping over. That said it does have a sturdy base but the area where the monitor connects to the base could be a bit stronger. It also took considerable force to get the panel on the base initially.

Best and cheapest priced monitor I ever bought.I've had Viewsonic, LG, Acer, and Samsung monitors from 19" to 24" and this one is my favorite. I like the power button where it is and how it is made. I've had monitor power buttons not make contact because it was loose and could not shut off unless I unplugged it. Para empezar hay que tener en cuenta que no incluye cable HDMI, sólo contiene VGA (sin ningún tipo de adaptador a HDMI o DVI), así que si quieren HDMI hay que conseguir el cable por separado, y tampoco se puede modificar la altura a la que se coloca el monitor.En cuanto a lo bueno del monitor, tomando en cuenta que es un monitor IPS de 1920x1080 a 60 hz, es un excelente monitor, la imagen se ve muy clara y definida, su tamaño de 21.5" es ideal para que a una resolución de 1080p no sean visibles los pixeles y se vea claramente en HD.Estéticamente se ve muy bonito, su diseño slim es muy elegante, su pantalla al estar apagada simula una pantalla sin bordes, pero al encenderla ésta sí contiene bordes. Sus botones, aunque al ocultarlos en la parte inferior dan un mejor toque a la apariencia del monitor, son difíciles de utilizar al navegar por el menú de opciones.Recomiendo este monitor para personas que quieran un monitor 1080p económico con tecnología IPS y entrada HDMI.

Es un monitor que tiene una calidad muy buena, un poco brillante, cosa que puede arreglarse con la configuración, su diseño es muy atractivo y luce mucho, lo recomiendo ampliamente!
