[I would recommend] Working great after 2 years.
Great value, amazing battery life, superb processor. However, this gaming laptop does not have a Webcam nor disk reader. (I got my own parts so it didn't effect me much.)Furthermore, there is a glitch on the Turbo mode setting. You will not be able to change your brightness setting. However, if you re-select the setting then restart then the problem would be fixed.Other than the issues I have mentioned above, everything else was great. I have been able to play games and do 3d design on it perfectly.

Fast, great graphics, great battery life!
An amazing computer, especially for the price. It outperforms far more expensive laptops. It's lightning fast, can run multiple apps simultaneously. Has a gorgeous screen and fantastic graphics performance. Only shortcoming is that it's a heavyweight, partly because I went with 17" model. I'd recommend same specs in the15" version. But, if you use it at a desk, go with the 17"!

Excellent machine
The screen is beautiful and the keyboard is nice and....... solid. AS is the build in general. I'm extremely happy with this laptop. No camera but I can live with that. The lighting is a little too ....... involved imo, could be SOOO much simpler. Still, a very fine machine and I am definitely happy with it as will you I'm sure.

6 months update: Not even close of a good investment
The good partPretty colors, can play most f2p game max outThe bad part- Drivers- the wifi driver is atrocious, I been getting constant lag spikes and disconnections when playing outside home, most important one was on a lan at a frind house, while playing league I was the only one of every single laptop getting disconnected.- not even a year after I got it and the lan port straight up died, reason Im actually typing this is because I had to log into amazon to see if I can get a dock for it so I can use the lan connection as well as get more ports since it only have 2 usb A ports and 2 usb c ports, and a single hdmi port- thinking of using linux ?Unless you are going to use arc don’t even try it, the drivers are even worse there and from I could see the most of the community support is based on arc.Graphics cardAnything somewhat modern or demanding is not going to be a good experience, I love HD2 and had to stop playing it based on how bad it ran even on lowest possible configuration when fighting big groups of enemies.Tldr: At this price ( 1300 pre taxes if I remember correctly) better go for a work machine or build a gaming pc

Fast, beautiful screen
I really like it except the lighting of the keyboard, it would be better for me if they were a solid smooth color

Good for the price, a few problems!
Had this for two months now.Pros:- I'm loving the screen size- the keyboard is comfortable- the light customization is not something I thought I needed or wanted, but it's pretty fun!- It boots quickly, you can remove most of the bloatware with ease.- Graphics are nice - not top of the line, but definitely not the worst either. All in all, this is a GREAT budget gaming laptop, and I'm not regretting it.Now for the problems.- Small one, there's no webcam! Kind of standard in most laptops. Not a dealbreaker for me, but I think most folks assume it to be standard. Keep that in mind.- This thing absorbs fingerprints like nobody's business. It just soaks them up. Be prepared to live with it, or buy a ton of wipes.- This has an issue where it randomly just... won't wake up from sleep mode. This isn't an isolated incident - there are message boards that include people reporting this same problem. It seems to be an issue with the USB ports and how they interact with sleep mode, but I haven't fully solved this yet. You can hard power it off and reboot, but that's not great for it in the long run. Thus far in two months it's happened 4 times, and only ever when I've left the laptop open.It isn't happening often enough that I'm concerned and need to return it - at the time of this writing, there's a solid 1.5 year ADP warranty from ASUS if you register - but it's definitely worth calling out.Last thing to note, not really a problem, but there are a *lot* of hotkeys on this keyboard. The Function key actually does things, and it does a LOT of things. You'll take some time getting used to it. Overall, it's a good thing, but if you're not used to this many functions you may feel a little overwhelmed at first. Also, there's no touch screen. I don't know why Amazon keeps asking me to review one.
