The Kew Book of Nature Samplers (Folder edition): 10 Embroidery Projects with Reusable Iron-on Transfers

The “KEW BOOK of NATURE SAMPLERS” is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring. I am new to embroidery and needle work. I developed very high blood pressure and someone suggested embroidery as a way to relax and get things under control. I saw this book in Amazon and was excited and inspired immediately. It has stunning color photos on both the hard cover and the book itself on quality glossy paper with illustrations and instructions on how to create projects in this book and embroidery in general. It also comes with extra starter stitch samplers tucked inside the inner fold of the hardcover which is actually a beautiful finished envelope for lack of a better word and done to perfection with the extra samplers enclosed in a protective plastic sheath. The book is filled with glorious color photos of finished projects and projects in progress for reference and instructions.It has a stunning finished hard cover ( inside and out )with the book inserted securely inside the back sleeve with an elastic band secured to the back cover to keep your page open for reference and directions. It’s filled with color photographs and black and white illustrations of samples from flowers, mushrooms, butterflies, dragonflies, a darling lifelike rabbit, hedgehog, a bird etc. Clear directions on how to re-create each step of every project in this book including yarns/floss and colors including placement and stitches, fabric and tools you will need in your embroidery arsenal.The only drawback for me is that I think this book might be geared to a more experienced embroiderer than I. Maybe someone with a little experience under their belts? I haven’t tried any projects yet. I purchased another excellent “KEW” book of stitches of every kind to acquaint myself with stitches, yarns/floss, tools and fabric.In the meantime I am thoroughly enjoying this absolutely gorgeous book and can’t wait to dive into the many outstanding projects in this book. Maybe someone braver than I am is able to pick this book up and jump in right away. I am trying to figure all of this out myself. I’m sure a complete beginner like me would benefit having someone to do these projects with and just have fun:)Don’t let this book slip away before it is no longer available. It’s a no-brainer!ENJOY!!!
