Today I tested the new unit against 3 others and the readings matched so I'm satisfied the meter is accurate. I did receive a refund and a newer model replacement unit at no charge. I would defn. order from this seller.6/2018 Update: The customer service seems stellar in that I was offered a replacement model and a refund of the defective unit. Honestly, if it comes through, this could be customer service at it's best, even if the new unit doesn't work. I'll update once I receive new unit.Couldn't see through the fog inside the display. Very cheaply made.

I like the small size and it seems well built. I bought three of them and left them sitting next to each other on a table for two hours. They were all stable and one of them had the temperature at 70.8F, one at 71.3F and one at 72.0F. I have no idea what the actual temperature was in the room so I can't tell you if any of them were accurate, but between the three, there was up to the noted 1.2 degree F difference. I was hoping they'd be a little more consistent. I'm using them to monitor temp/humidity in individual rooms in my house, so good enough for what I'm doing.

I saw the dimensions but wow is it tiny in person. Which is actually kind of nice because it keeps it out of the way. Very good, read within 1 degree of an existing thermometer within 20 minutes (in industrial applications this is usually verified over hours).

I have two of these. One for my Ball Python and one for my Western Hognose, they're very accurate and small so they aren't in the way. I, honestly, wasn't expecting much from this seeing how small and cheap it is but, it works wonders! Would buy again when I get more reptiles!!

Nice large digits. Tolerance seems to be +/- 1 degree F, good enough for me. Magnetic back is very handy!

These are tiny and super cute. (Approximately 2" by 1.5") Bought one for each office.

Very small but still easy to read. It works perfect for the room our baby is in.

I bought a couple of these small devices for my job as Home Inspector; I put them together to compare the readings, just to check how reliable they were. After several days doing it, I can say that they are really reliable. They are very simple, nothing complicated. This device doesn't have an auto power-off system, and until this moment I don't know how efficient is the battery.
