the Fisher & Paykel cartridges are extortionately priced so I was reluctant to replace ours but small black particles started to appear in the ice cubes so I had to give in. Delighted to find these ones at a reasonable price. Fit properly and seem to do the job. I can't do a water chemistry test but certainly tastes as it should out of the fridge. Hopefully taking out all the chemicals that Scottish Water see fit to lace our drinking water with.

Thought I’d try these as so much cheaper than official Fisher and Paykel. Easy to install and water from dispenser much improved in terms of speed etc but... leaked really badly so much so I had to put bucket under it. Now waiting on F&P one to swap it over before disconnecting it. Contacted customer service and sent video but seemed to go into cyberspace eventually contacted Amazon direct. These filters seem to work for other people but unfortunately not for me.

I used this to replace an original Fisher Paykel filter. It seems to remove impurities as an original would. Only one problem is that the dispenser now dribbles whereas before it didnt. This might be air getting in to the system, not quite sure. Its not too bad but a bit annoying needing daily wipes of the drip tray. The filter does fit the FP unit which was a concern before buying these....

Once I had remembered that I had to reset the Bell and + sign on the Fisher &Paykel fridge, the fridge stopped telling me to rep[lace the filter!My mistake so ignore my earlier 1* review. A definite 5* review.

Do not buy these filters. They are poor quality. I bought 2, both of them leaked, one after a few months, and the other immediately it was fitted. I called an engineer as I thought it was a fault with the Fisher & Paykel fridge, but no, it was the filter. Replaced the filter with a Fisher & Paykel filter and all was fine. Btw you can buy F&P filters directly from them at a cost of £39 incl shipping. Worth the extra cost. Of course now it's too late to get my money back for these faulty ones.
