Been using Staples Better Binders for many years and they haven't failed yet. They are D-ring so pages lie flat when you open the cover. Good sturdy opening button and the rings stay closed when flipping through pages big sections at a time. I use the 3 inch regularly, but this monster size is great for really big jobs like archiving school memories. You could use plastic sheet protectors and easily fit samples of work, certificates and report cards from PK right up to Grade 12 all in one 5 inch.

I have used these binders in various sizes and they last much longer than the typical “heavy duty” binders. I would have one in all sizes and colors if I could! My kids use them for school and I use them for work.

I think these 5" binders are great. They are sturdy and I hope will last the school year. So far so good with no complaints.

Well, the very large version of this binder has been a little disappointing. It's still durable & it probably holds up better than a different brand of the same size. The covers are just a little too flexible. When maneuvering it around when it's really full it kind of moves all over the place. It's holding up so far but it's big & you can just only expect so much. The binding of the binder where the front & back cover attach could be sturdier I think. But, I also have mine really really full. Every page has a page protector & it's just heavy & more difficult to maneuver. But, I bought it for the space to do exactly what I'm doing with it. So far it's working.

The product is superior. The package that is arrived in was terrible. It was open, the box was deformed and the binder's front was folded backwards. It left the impression that very little care was give when packaging something that was going to hold something very valuable. The product is 5 stars. The arrival presentation is 2 stars.
