Mandolin Armrest ebony wood with U clamp hardware

It was worth buying this little item. Not only because it worked great, but now I have something to ensure I won't be rubbing the finish off of my mandolin with my forearm. I like protecting my investments and this was a good way of doing it.

pro's : Very well made & finished. Well thought out for ease of assembly. Chrome parts are nicely done. Con : it's waaaay to small at only 4 inches.......it works, but it's minimalist. Price exceeds value.

It does seem unusually small… but does the trick for me and i think I like it.. especially for the price.

If you need this kind of thing, this is the exact kind of thing you need. Looks nice, adds to the esthetic value of the Mandolin.

Almost impossible to use, it’s so poorly made. Can’t really screw the two halves together.

Fits my Eastman MD305 well and is helpful with arm placement and holding the instrument. It also seems well made but time will tell. I would say buy one!

My mandolin is 2 and 1/2 inches thick. I cannot get this armrest to expand any further than 2 inches so if your mandolin is thicker than 2 inches, this device will not work. And honestly, it needs to be wider and longer for my preferences. This is mor for a child’s arm.

I thought it might be larger…but no worries it is inr..I like it. Be patient when putting it together.Its much smaller than a say fiddle chinguard…
