If you know your cars fitment and your aftermarket wheels fitment these work great so fit stars ⭐️ and you don’t have to work about your wheel being only tightened by your lugs and it’s a really snugged fit(2013 Dodge Challenger RT)

Plastic is apparently for aluminum wheels, so that's what I bought. They fit fine, but like all rings they can fall out, so check your wheels if you have them off the car. Tire shop lost 2 of my old ones. Now I have extras. Are they important? Not really sure if there's a consensus. But they're cheap enough to use anyway.
