We have two small rescue dogs and one of them, in particular, used to eat so quickly that he would choke. Although he still eats quickly, these bowls have definitely slowed his eating down.They are a perfect height for our two papillon dogs, they don’t slip about on the floor and they are an attractive colour.Altogether extremely pleased with our purchase.

I got this for my 1 year old cat- Lola, she has a habit of inhaling her food- not literally but finishing her wet food in less than 30 seconds.This was quite pricey, I paid around £17 for this, but it’s incredibly durable and made out of a great sturdy plastic material. I was concerned that the bowl may be too small and cause whisker stress as I honestly couldn’t be bothered to check the diameter of the bowl I sort of hoped for the best but the bowl has been great and Lola is able to adjust her whiskers around the bowl perfectly fine!At the time of writing this I’ve fed Lola her last night feed, in a regular bowl she would finish her wet food in 30 seconds, now she’s spent over 15 minutes going back and forth between her wet and dry food (also in a slow feeding style bowl). Just make sure when you feed your pet, that you’re putting the meat chunks around the various raised prongs on the inside of the bowl, rather than in one place.If you’re hesitating buying, I honestly wouldn’t, it’s the best bowl I’ve brought by far and an extra benefit is the bowl is raised, it’s a natural position for cats to eat out without straining their neck as they get older.

These bowls are great for the purpose but it should be supplied with a special brush to clean.

I have a cat who eats very quickly so often vomits. The vet recommended a slow feeder and this one certainly helps. I have another slow feeder that's so awkward he has to use his feet to get the food out! I can recommend this feeder as suitable for a cat. He can manage to eat well, with the added bonus it is elevated, which aids digestion.

I tried a variety of different bowls before this. I needed a slow feeder, raised and not too wide so her ears don’t drag into her food. This, finally, was the very thing.

Pas vraiment adapté pour les Chats.

We have two Pom/Chi’s approx 11-12lbs.They have eaten considerably slower with these feeders. The height is perfect for their size! No more choking from leaning down and eating too fast. At first I wanted two different colors but this off-white/beige is perfect. Neutral and great for male and female.Highly recommend!!
