E3-20C 20Oz Claw STL Hammer,

This is a fine hammer. I already have two Estwing hammers, one that my father bought in the 50's. They are both fine quality tools. I recently polished up that old one, and it is in every way as good as new, except that the leather handle has darkened a bit with age -- that's it. I have already used my new 20 oz hammer and it seems to be every bit as well made as the 60 year old one. Its feel, balance and quality of manufacture seem to be top notch. I expect it will last the rest of my life, and that of one of my children, if not more. Highly recommended.

Couldn't find it in store, but found it here. So a trick I learned from my father. If you wear relaxed fit jeans or bibs you can grind the sharp outside corners off of the claws and then instead of needing a hammer loop you can simply put the hammer, head first - claws towards center, into your back pocket.The plus side is the that weather you are right or left handed it works and you are not always rubbing the finish off of door frames that you walk through.

My husband wanted this for Christmas, this specific weight and style. We recently began remodeling the house and wanted a hammer to keep at home instead of running to the work truck all the time. Well he liked it so much it ended up in the work truck instead. He said its the perfect weight and feels great in the hand. Oh and it was cheaper on here than any of the hardware stores

Really like this hamer for general carpentry use. I wanted something a little heavier with a slightly longer handle than the 16 oz Sears hammer I had. Very well made with the curved claws which you are much less likely to knock your front teeth out with than the straight claw ripping hammers. Very well made and should last a lifetime.

I bought this for my husband because every time he would go to do a project around the house he would complain that he used to have a nice Estwing and then he loaned it out to someone and never got it back. When it arrived he said he was happy with it, that it was a very nice framing hammer and that Estwings are the best.

A nice solid hammer! I've had a few wooden handle hammers over the years and inevitably the head starts working itself loose. This hammer is a solid piece of steel! The comfort grip is handy too.
