Schaller is the best strap lock available. I use it on all of my most precious gear - hasn't failed me yet. These are very easy to install. One issue I've found is that most straps don't have a hole that's big enough for the button to fit through. Get yourself a cheap set of leather punches and enlarge the hole - issue solved. Great product for the money!

All of my bass guitars are equipped with these strap locks. These simply work GREAT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

These are great strap locks. I have several of the Fender strap locks and they work great as well, but these attach easier to the strap.

The new version is a worthwhile upgrade. Much easier to put on the strap. A must to keep your guitar safe from falling off the strap.

No complaints with these locks! They are easy to tighten and hold in place.

Make sure to cinch down the strap end real good, and make sure the guitar-side button sits in the correctly oriented u-shaped receptacle.One caveat: matching the threads of the outgoing button screw is a crapshoot - be careful not to replace them as the wood will strip out if you do it more than a few times.

Very nice quality and very solid feel. I will change my other basses from the cheaper knockoffs to these as well.
