The Easy On Easy Off Sock Aid Kit is designed to assist individuals who have difficulty bending to put on or take off their socks. The Easy On Sock Aid consists of a U-shaped half cylinder mounted at an angle on a flat base. The base has a hook for positioning the Easy Off Sock Aid. To put on your sock, place the Easy On Sock Aid on your lap or between your thighs, place the toe of the sock in the middle of the half cylinder pointing down, and roll the upper portion of the sock down on the outside of the half cylinder. The sock will be inside out down to the foot and open. Then place the Sock Aid on the floor, insert your foot into the sock, and slide the heel down along the half cylinder to complete putting on the sock. The Easy Off Sock Aid consists of a shaft with an end piece that has two prongs with a curved loop in between. To remove your sock, slide the loop end of the tool between the top of the sock and the ankle and push the sock down past the heel with the two prongs catching the cuff of the sock. Then let the shaft drop to the floor and steps on it with the other foot. The foot is removed from the sock, while the sock remains attached to the prongs. Return the Easy Off Sock Aid to an upright position and bring the sock within reach. It can be used to remove light compression garments also.Easy On Easy Off Sock Aid Kit Features:No bending required for putting on or taking off socks.Easy for one-handed users.Unique cordless system.Compact design for storing Review: Works very good. - Have a bad hip and can not bend enough to put on my left sock, but now I can with no problem. It may not get your foot all the way in the sock but depends on what kind of sock. It gets it on far enough for me to finish putting them on. Short socks usually go on all the way with little effort. Review: Works as expected - My husband uses it when I'm not available. But it seems to work ok

The ones with the strings work better
This isn't a bad product but it wasn't as good as the sock assist I have with the strings. The commercials make it look super easy and it supose it is with a bunch of practice but I have better luck with the other one

Game changer
After my hip replacement surgery, I was unable to put on socks unassisted. This device gave me my freedom back and my family was happy too.

It broke after 3 months. Not well designed. Damages floors. Zero stars, but Amazon will not allow.
This is a review of the KINSMAN EASY ON / EASY OFF SOCK AID KIT Sock Aid Kit, in case Amazon or hackers blend this review with ones for hair relaxer or hot combs. I owned this for three months, then it broke during ordinary use. The plastic trough split lengthwise when I was putting the sock on it. There are other design flaws. In the process of tilting one's foot and pressing back with the heel (to get the foot and the device to "turn the corner" at the heel) the device clunks and clatters against the floor. My wooden floor has been marked / damaged by the device. It is odd: there is indeed a rubber pad on the bottom of the device, but it is not properly placed. If the rubber were advanced forward, rounding the front lip of the base, it would be easier to put the sock on, and floor damage wiould be averted. A more robust material for the trough probably exists. It should be used. In the photo I posted, the red arrow shows the scratches on the floor, next to the broken item.

A great help after surgery.
This invention is fantastic. After knee surgery I can't reach my feet but now I can get my socks on!

Gift for elderly dad, really easy to use, he loves it
I got this for my dad. He loves it. It gave him his self reliance back to put on his own socks again.

It looks more complicated than what it is.
It is very practical. Bought it for my elderly mother and she likes it a lot.

After my hit replacement I found it very hard to bend down far enough to put socks on. This plastic invention, not expensive but worked like a charm for the 5 months I needed it until I could bend over far enough to do it by hand. Thank you genius inventor.
