Wooden beads and rope-like thread, no metal/wire. Made a great gift for a boy/man.

I like the solid feel of the rosary. It isn't heavy and the cord work feels like care was taken when assembling it. I'm not sure what the symbol on the bottom and backside of the crucifix is supposed to mean. Edit: it has a maker's mark. It is holding up after 2 months of daily use. Ave Maria.
