replace lg door switch washer
my lg washer is broken by electronic door switch , this one replace take less than about 30 minutes , then it come back work very well , a lot cheaper than OEM lg switch door

Functions Same as OEM
I have a Kenmore Elite washing machine that began to have a door lock issue, either resulting in the door being locked shut or the washer refusing to start the cycle due to the lock mechanism not engaging.This part was available for next-day delivery and at a fraction of the price as the OEM part, so I gave it a chance. Side by side the parts are geometrically identical, and almost identical to the production part number stampings on the components.Installation was pretty simple and straightforward - if you have smaller hands and arms going through the top of the washer is the easiest way. If you have larger hands you may have to undo the drum seal, pull it back, and go that route. This part does not come pre-threaded for the machine screws like the OEM part, so make sure your alignment is straight and deliberate the first time you put the mounting screws in it.So far my washer has been functioning as it should and the lock has a sturdy sounding "click" to it when it engages. Being that this part saved me a week of wait time, some money, and kept me from needing to visit the laundromat, I give the part a full five stars. If issues arise in the future I will return with an update.

Worked fine
Put this into a kenmore and it worked fine. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I don't know how long it will last. Replaced the switch a year ago with another one also made in China and it broke after a year. Chose a different brand this time so we'll see if this one is better.

Came in next day!
I owed my neighbor a favor and found out he was going to the laundromat and had to fix him up. This came in the next morning after looking at his washer and he installed it while I was at work. He said it’s been working since and that was a few months now.
