Very loud. Very practical. Flashing light while it goes off at night is a big plus. No thieves like attention or be looked at.

It's not often I come across a product that does everything as stated in the ad, however, this is one of those times I was not disappointed and in fact impressed.The installation process was as easy as it gets, the remote works great and blends into the black handle bars of my recumbent trike so it's not easily spotted. The alarm is sensitive and gives a 2 sound warning (quite startling) as if shouting "move along", touch the bike again and it screams in bloody terror.Now the tail light itself, well built, good strong light, I like the strobe effect as it really got my attention, and here's the icing on the cake ... as you're coming to a stop it glows a solid red just like the brake lights of a car, stop for a period of time and it shuts down to conserve power, start moving and it lights up again. Amazing engineering. Also, the tail light is rechargeable with it's included USB cable and maintains a charge for many days of long distance riding.If I could make one suggestion to the company that manufactures this unit, make the tail light a little bigger for even better visibility.This is one product I would buy again and highly recommend, without hesitation, to anybody. I have a pretty nice bike I left it chained to a pole just 3 days after recieving alarm and someone tried cutting the flimsy cable I was using but alarm must of scared the .... Out of them.I came back and saw a small snip in the cable and a metre away was some cable cutters.I bought 2 more alarms that day

Remote control is awesome

This is an amazing addition to my recumbent accessories. Very easy to install, great adjustable features, but also very easy for anyone else to remove and walk away with as well. Even with the instructions explaining how to adjust the settings, it took a while experimenting to set up to my liking. When braking, the automatic brake light turning on works well. There is no way for continuous brake light blinking in the settings. This should have a larger battery for use with continuous brake light blinking in my opinion.The sensitivity setting for the bike alarm works well. First movement of bike makes a chirp if alarm is turned on. Trying to walk away with bike sets off the screeching which is very loud and can be heard easily. I also like the (where did I park my bike) beep on the remote. It does need to be closer than I expected for the remote to find it and hear the bike beep. The alarm itself is easy to place on any upright on the bike, but not really trusting that the rubber strap will stay secure enough to prevent losing the alarm riding over bumpy areas. I would like to see a more secure way to fasten this alarm, making it harder for someone to walk away withas well. Over all this is a great alarm for the price with advanced features not available on more expensive motion sensing alarms. Liked the features so much I bought 2. Glad I did take the chance on this. Each alarm must use its own remote as they are paired only to each other. The alarm must be charged initially for it to start working. With a small 800 mAh battery, after a few days, it must be recharged even if not used it seems. The remote is not rechargeable and can be carried on a key chain or placed in the snap holder you can place on handlebar. Great product !!!
