I recommend this. We used it for a birthday party with an 8" Disco ball and it worked great. We tied it to an existing light in a small room with some other party lights and the little colored LEDs still kinda showed up on the wall. I don't think they would show up in a medium or large room but for the money it seems to have a great motor and I believe the disco ball should have one or two spotlights on it anyway. Also I packed it in my suitcase and forgot to take out the batteries - at some point during the flight it got bumped and switched on and the chain tangled up (I was worried that I broke it), but once I unraveled the chain it still worked worked great!

I know it’s cheap, you get what you paid for yada yada but it worked for my sister one time and it seems like the batteries are already dying and some of the lights don’t even work.

This motor and a 6" disco ball from Five Below turned my 10yo daughters bedroom into a disco roller boogie. This thing really works great and the lighting patterns it throws on the walls and ceiling are AWESOME. I scored BIG dad points with this purchase. You'll love it!

First, let me say this works, and it is so cute! But there is one major flaw… The switch is on the device which is hung from the ceiling…. So every time we want to use it, we have to climb on a stool to turn it on.

You get what you pay for on this product. For $23 I can’t complain, but I would like to have a fully functional item. It has two settings and only one of them works as soon as I opened the package and tried it out. I am assuming the mode that doesn’t work is a flashing lights version. I am just happy the motor works and at least one of the light settings. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for in this item.

The Colorful, rotator for my disco ball. Is perfect!!! just what I was looking for. Very pretty colors and rotates my disco ball.High highly recommend this product.

No remote, it’s operated by a switch. Spins well and the lights are fun. 3 AA Batteries needed.

works as advertised. But based on the very low light brightness and cheap plastic. It should be priced the same as the four dollar Dollarama disco ball I bought for it.This is a kids toy.

Good quality spining portion for sure but the led lights on top not very bright so ball shines but only on top and very dull
