This is a cuckoo clock with a typical Black Forest house with a shingled roof, a chimney and attic windows. It has lots of forest animals and a hunter who raises his binoculars in time to the cuckoo call, which is once on the half hour and on the full hour according to the time. The clock has wooden pine cones and intricate hand-carvings on each side and at the base of the house. Two alternating melodies - Edelweiss and Happy Wanderer - play every hour while the water wheel turns and the figurines wearing the Black Forest traditional costume dance around to the music. The clock is personally signed at the back by the manufacturer Adolf Herr. His signature guarantees the experience of 7 generations of clock-workmanship. This clock comes with a certificate of authenticity (AHC). Clock Movement: 8-Day (weekly wind-up) Regula rack strike movement with night off.
