Fantastic design, easy to use
I needed a new liquid measuring cup, and this set does a better job than any others I've used. They measure increments from 1 ml to 1 cup, with both metric and imperial units... Milliliters, ounces, teaspoons/ tablespoons, whatever unit of volume your recipe uses these will handle it. The markings are easy to read and do not wear off with repeated washings, and they're top rack dishwasher safe so they're very easy to clean. I've used them with oils, high proof alcohols and other liquids and had no problems. I usually prefer glass to plastic, but the material these are made from is smooth and heavy duty enough that it hasn't scratched at all and still looks shiny and new, even though they are getting used daily. The bases are slightly rubberized so they stay where you put them as you pour into them, and they stack up neatly so they don't take up much room in my kitchen. The color coding is nice too, it helps me know exactly which size to grab and they're aesthetically pleasing all stacked together. If I ever have to replace these I'd get the same ones, I'm consistently impressed with OXO's great design and this is no exception!

Marvelous for youngsters learning to cook
These are wonderful measuring cups for liquids or solids that "pour" (think sugar or salt, not flour). The design is superb: There's enough room at the top to fill, say, with a cup of milk, but not be overflowing and dripping everywhere as happens with a conventional measuring cup, a handy feature cooking with children, but also nice for grownups. They nest well and don't take up much space, and are color coded by size. The graduations are handily laid out, especially for essentially math and conversion-free scaling of recipes (Ie, milliliters, tablespoons, fluid ounces, and teaspoons are all available on smaller beakers) and the gradations are clearly marked and easy to read. They survive the dishwasher, too. My wife has even purchased a set to use in her occupational therapy clinic. Highly recommended.

Great for shaky hands!
To continue the saga that is my super shaky mother in the kitchen.... She called me up one day jokingly fussin up a storm that she couldn't measure anything anymore. Spices flying everywhere, liquids falling all over the countertops, the stove was a mess, what was she going to do?! She apparently attempted to measure out six tablespoons of a liquid to make a stew, and it took quite a few more than six attempts to get six tablespoons into the pot. Not cool. Her requirements for whatever I found were something able to measure small amounts (like 1/4 teaspoon) and something for larger amounts. I figured something like a beaker would be best and was pretty shocked to find that there was actually such a thing as beaker-esque plastic measuring cups! Of all the sets I found, this set is perfect. It has cups for larger measurements, and it's the only set I found that actually goes down to 1/4 teaspoon. The openings are flared, which makes measuring much easier. And while I'm not a fan of the whole rainbow thing, I (and she) do appreciate the color coding for making searching for the right cup much easier. Sturdy, easy to wash, great quality, and a must-have in anyone's kitchen. This is probably her new fave thing in the kitchen, and she's having to clean up a lot less of a mess because of these.

Great and fun!
I love these little measuring beakers! The markings were wearing off on our old small kitchen measuring cups, and, anyway, the old ones didn't really have all the markings I really needed for cooking. This set has more granularity than our old ones, and I really love that! The smallest one has milliliters and fractional teaspoons, up to 1 tsp., or 5 ml. The next one is marked in tablespoons, teaspoons, and milliliters, upon to 15 ml, 1 tablespoon (with fractional Tbs.), or 3 teaspoons, also with fractional tsp. The second-to-largest one is marked in ounces, tablespoons, and milliliters - 2 Tbs. or 1 oz., including fractional measurements, and up to 30 ml. The biggest one is marked for up to 4 tablespoons (whole Tbs. only), up to 2 oz., with half-oz. marks, and up to 60 ml. I haven't used for cooking yet, but ran through the dishwasher once prior to use, and the markings didn't wear off or anything, and they don't smell funny or look bad or anything. I love the fun beaker shape, and the fact that they are stackable, so they don't take up too much space in the cabinet. Yes, they are plastic, but bonus - not breakable! I love the fun colors of the bases, and that they are beaker-shaped! I look forward to doing some Mad Science in the kitchen with these. Mwa ha ha!

Pretty darn great!
I’ve been using these for years and like them so much that I bought more. What I like: Easy to pour stuff into them. Accurate Sit sturdily on a flat surface. Easy to read markings Easy to pour out of Clean up nicely Can be moved around without spilling easily. They leave some room at the top so that you don’t have to fill them all the way up - YAY! Love that I can pour out milk or cream and then set the container in the fridge so it doesn’t sit out while I’m browning the meat or what have you. STURDY - I have exceptionally, extraordinarily hard tile and these things do not break when I drop them. Also, I can toss them into the sink instead of setting them down or all of them to it. They don’t break from normal use. What I don’t like - 1. Dullness. If you run them through the dishwasher enough times, the clear plastic gets a tiny bit cloudy. Still totally usable and doesn’t prevent you from seeing the markings or whatever you’ve poured - just dull. So now I hand wash them. 2. Not color coded. I have two big sets and bought one small set because those get used more and I like to have everything set up (mise en place!) without having to rinse and reuse in the same recipe/meal. The small set is not colored the same! The same size container will be two different colors, depending on which set it came from. So color-coding is not helpful and slows me down - “Wait, which one is this?” It’s like traveling to the city next to yours, which has stoplights where red means go and green means stop. You’re always going to be wondering what city you’re in and have to check. Kind of annoying. I think I will order a third big set and drop the little ones at the Goodwill. It is just too confusing. To be fair, the pictures are accurate and if I’d checked before buying, I’d have known that the same size will be two different colors. It sure would’ve been nice if someone had thought of that, though. (I saw a lot of people asking questions about what you can put in them: FOOD, liquid or not liquid. These are not science beakers. If you put caustic chemicals in them, they may get damaged. If you are using chemicals, get chemical beakers, not food ones.) Overall really, really pleased. :)

Love this!
These are amazing! I love that they come in all of the variations of measurements. Now I don’t have to keep rinsing my measuring cup. Also I can pre measure and have all ingredients ready to go! And the nesting feature is a huge bonus!! Takes up very little space. I highly recommend!

Fewer spills!
I think we bought these because of a recommendation on Slate. We've been using them often for over a year. We wash them in the utensil basket. Markings haven't faded. They don't take up too much space in a drawer. Much easier than spoons for liquid, even some solids, like seeds.

Excellent, durable small measuring cylinders
I love these so much. The colourful bottoms look great, and they're incredibly durable. It's great for when you need a small amount of something that might be a pain to measure out, like 3.5 tsp or something. Also work great for giving kids liquid medicine, because almost nothing -designed- for that purpose goes past 7.5mL except the flimsy little cups that come with the meds. I love these so much, they're the best addition to my kitchen in awhile!
