what do I mix it with? I'm planning on mixing with henna and green tea, will that work?

Hello there! I used black tea, so I have no test done with green tea! I left the henna on my hair for three hours and covered with a shower cap. As hair is different, I suggest you check it at intervals to see how the colour is taking. I know my hair took a long time to take in the colour!

Can you use this on chemically coloured hair?

Yes you can but be aware that it might interact with your hair colour if your hair is fair as it has a natural pale yellow/golden colour (which actually enhances blonde coloured hair). Dark hair will just be conditioned.

Do you need to add anything to this powder, to enhance colour, it would be for bleached blonde/greying hair, as I keep reading different things ?

No you do not need to add anything to the powder. However, like henna cassia can be mixed overnight (at least 8 hours) with acidic liquid to get dye release which produces a more vibrant colour and can dye grays better given grays can be stubborn and dye resistant - you may even need more than one application as hair may not take first time round. Whilst cassia can be used on chemically treated hair, given hair is bleach blonde cassia will add yellow colour possibly yellow highlights so it is best to do an invisible section of hair first to see if you will like the results before applying to whole head. Hi I have grey hair and do not want to change the colour. Can I use this just to condition?

Hi there no, I would not recommend as it will give gray hair a very pale yellow stain which is semi permanent and does wash out. Aloe vera powder would be better for gray hair. Amla could work too. Although amla has a slight tan colour by nature, some gray hairs can be very resistant to colour and it would only possibly add colour with frequent use but because each individual hair is different it would be best to test amla out on a small section of your gray hair before covering entire head but aloe vera should be fine.
