I was searching for a pair of cheaper tennis shoes to wear while taking care of the pets that would be fairly water resistant. I was tired of wearing tennis shoes to take care of our pets, and coming back into the house with wet feet from the early morning dew that settles on the grass. I had gone through two pairs of rubber rain boots but they tend to develop cracks and start leaking after a few months of regular wear. I saw these shoes and ordered a pair in 7.5 since I typically wear a women's 8.5 or 9. So far they are working perfectly and I am hoping the way they are constructed they will last a lot longer than my rubber boots have.
