Works great. Not super magnetic but good enough to stay in place.

this thing is MAGIC! All you do is cut the square to the appropriate size (easy to do with normal kitchen scissors). Then the magnetic strip sticks to your AC unit. It immediately stops the sound of rain or the dripping from my upstairs neighbor's AC unit. super easy to install (under 10 min from when I opened the package to completed installation). I find that it lasts about 6 mo or so before it gets gross with too much bird poop. you can easily pick it up and throw it away.

This product did not work at all. The magnetic part did not stick as stated. Not worth it.

When I received this shipment, I had doubts about how effective it would be. However, after I cut covers for two air conditioner window units (one is quite small from the product, I put the covers on top of the units. I wasn’t sure they would hold because the magnetic quality didn’t seem strong. However, a thunderstorm with rain and hail hit. The foam on top did silence the hits and the vinyl kept the rain from falling inside. The only noise was from the rain and hail hitting the sides of the units. This product worked great. It’s affordable, easy to cut and easy to install. If you want to keep rain from flooding your window unit, it’s worth the cost.

Agree with other reviews... it's definitely NOT magnetic. I even tested it on other metals, including the fridge and it did not stick. But thankfully I read the reviews in advance and also ordered self-adhesive magnetic sheets which stuck on easily. Quick and easy to cut and put in place. I can't speak to how it'll hold up during a storm or over time yet since this is just day 1 but it is catching all the darn drips from the upstairs neighbor's AC, which had previously flooded the inside on my own AC. Hopefully it dries nicely cause that drip seems constant.

It does stick, I changed my review from 1 to 5 stars.Let me tell you what I didFirst I simply put on the surface of AC, it felt strong, strong enough as strong as the other one I bought for my other AC.I cleaned surface of AC, measured and cut and applied on the surface of AC. We will see how it holds, just make sure the foam is not bigger than AC, otherwise it would be blown away.

Works as advertised. Dramatically decreases the sound of drips coming from the roof or ac units above us. The magnets keep it stuck down even in bad weather. I bought another one for my other unit because it was so good.
