Growing up in the South, we are accustomed to smooth creamy grits as a child. I like that this is a courser grain and perhaps has a little fiber in it. The taste and texture are excellent.

Nice color and flavor. You won't get the "creamy" grits your used to, they retain their texture well. They taste great with everything from Newsoms Country Ham to shrimp and grits.
