Quite nice perfume for the price to be honest. Kind of a minty scent with a hint of tobacco which is not a very bad scent. The bottle does smell a bit like booze but, then again, I personally don't mind it. Overall quite a nice perfume and the bottle seems to be quite strong seeming that the delivery driver threw my package over my very tall fence instead of just sitting it on the outside of the fence

Great smell but don't last long .but I want this smell always

I am so heartbroken to have to leave a bad review for the coffee scent. I was so, so, so looking forward to it and had my eye on it for months before I finally decided to buy it.The initial smell is WONDERFUL. The scent reminds me of cutting open a bag of coffee beans and getting hit in the face with that warm, delicious smell of fresh coffee. At first it's so strong it's almost overwhelming, and then it totally vanishes. After applying this perfume the walk to my front door has already dissipated it. It lasts about 5 minutes on the skin and then it smells like NOTHING. It's just gone.I have never had a perfume that fades SO fast and I could not believe it. I tried EVERYTHING to get this perfume to last a little bit longer and nothing works. I'm talking the whole works: perfume on the perfume, lotion on the perfume, spraying it on lotion, spraying it on my skin, spraying it on my clothes. So on and so forth. I tried everything and I have given up on this one. It's such a let down and terrible introduction into Demeter for me.

Doesn't smell enough like bananas.

I opened and sprayed it as soon as I got it because I was so excited and it smelled exactly how I hoped it would. It smells heavenly. Next day I put it on in the morning before I went to work (shipyard) and it was not as prominent when I arrived at work so after about 30 mins the smell is not strong enough for it to be a compliment getter but I can't complain too much because about 5hrs into my 10hr shift I still get whiffs of it on my skin (it's nice to get compliments on how you smell every once in awhile but not something I'm looking for, I just know a few of my coworkers *will* say if they smell something good 😅) so all in all for me to be able to smell it on my skin after that long even if it was faint is good because in 99°F or higher temperatures with high humidity and a fan pointed in my direction constantly I would've thought it would be gone long before 😊

I had this in the roll on and then immediately needed the spray. It's very sweet and very subtle. It's not a strong or chemical scent, it's just... sweet. It doesn't have that over the top vanilla scent a lot of gourmet perfumes get that says "vanilla" or "marshmallow" and it smells like vanilla cupcake butter cream sugar yankee candle hell. It's literally just a very soft, subtle sweet scent that's kind of warm on the skin but doesn't have a lot going on.You know how some business advice goes on and on about how you have to make sure your perfume is really subtle when you go to a job interview and it's incredibly rude to wear any perfume to work because it could trigger other people? This is a "job interview" perfume for sure. Unless someone is right on top of you or their nose is very sensitive, they won't consciously pick up anything at all.

This perfume is to die for. It's original, sweet, just a tad of something I can't put words to in a good way.I'd suggest focusing on wrists, neck and other pulse points. The perfume is weak after about 3-4 hours however it's still faintly present. I think that any citrus note is hard to hold for extended periods of time though so it's no fault of the perfume but the scent type. Out of all the orange perfumes I've tried this is one of the best so far and isn't overpowering.

DUDE. GROSS. My partner summed it up best when he walked into where I'd tested it: "Jee-ZUS! Did a really, really old lady fart out her soul in here?"I read the reviews and decided to take the risk, if it did come through to me like old book I'd have been thrilled. I'm one of those people who have a particularly good sense of smell, super-taster or whatever. My olfactory sense is impressive, and I always think if I hadn't taken up smoking as a kid I might be able to work for companies that need trained tasters and a complex flavor references. It is pretty cool and yeah I'm bragging a little, but it wasn't so much a gift as a horrible, horrible curse when smelling this monstrosity. So I don't always get the basic thing most people go for, I can pick up on different notes and layers of a lot of scents. And of course, smell is so subjective. If you try it, it may be the same product I received, but we will experience it differently. That might help you get something out of it that you enjoy. Obviously some people will luck out and experience the scent as enjoyable.This smells gross to me though! Really really gross.. What hits first is a kind of musty old lady perfume, followed by a heavy baby powder smell. Then the heavy musk undertone of the old lady perfume hits. Once it lingers for a while--and oh boy does it linger, believe that!--it still retains the powder/musky perfume smell, but what really, really lasts are the gas station bathroom air freshener elements. And it wouldn't smell good there either. 1/10 Would not recommend. However, again, smells are subjective and your senses are different from mine, different from your neighbors', different from your partner's. If you just want to know, like I did, give it a try. If you're missing that second hand bookstore smell, that wood pulp and old ink and the ghost of cigarette smoke and the very soft, subtle smell of the words being read, uh...I don't know that *anyone* would get that. If you're looking for a really retro powdery 'White Shoulders and Meemaw in a Valero bathroom' smell you're in luck!And I've read the recommendation that Demeter perfumes be considered more of a novelty not meant to be worn but enjoyed on something besides your body, I tried. Some good napkins and a hand towel were definitely harmed in the testing of this product. Also, I am aware that not all old ladies smell like baby powder, faded and crumbling prom dress memories and pee and I don't mean to stereotype. However "Old Lady Perfume" is a description that many people will understand.

Loin de sentir la poudre de bébé...L'odeur n'est pas ce que je m'attendaisY a un arrière senteur d'amertume.Bref!J'augmente ma note du 3 au 4 carL'odeur n'est pas ce que ja m'attendais mais depuis j'utilise sur mes oreillers mes coussins etc. Et c'est étonnant comment ça peut sentir bon.

This scent is absolutely incredible & you do get the 3 notes , top , medium & base notes & the first note is marzipan not to sweet not to strong the edible kind of marzipan YUM 😋Then the white chocolate note which is Devine & then toasted sweet almonds what’s not to love ❤️The only downside is that the scent doesn’t have much longevity so using sparingly isn’t a choice… spray quite liberally only on pulse points & this fragrance will last at least 4 hours…. Absolutely Devine scent & will be repurchasing for definitely 💯❤️❤️
