Super cute blocks for learning the solar system! I just wish it came with a sun block too! Great quality and price. Love that it's made in America!

These are adorable! They include so much information on them as well. My daughter is still a bit too young to understand what they say but right now she just enjoys the blocks. Perfect for any space loving kid.

The blocks are amazing beautiful and well crafted. It shows how far the planet is from the sun, in what order, how many moons it has, the planetary symbol, how large its orbit is, etc... All shown on each side of the block! Amazing and beautifully done. I took one point off for durability because it is wood and has a couple of dings in them now but to be fair it was a gift for my toddler. I am learning new things from these blocks myself! Highly recommend especially if your kid is newly learning about the planets.

Beautifully crafted and just the right size for toddler hands, these blocks have different information on each side. The perfect gift for that little future astronaut in your family.

These blocks are awesome! High quality, wood blocks. The pictures are clear and vibrant. The blocks are educational and adorable. I ordered these for my sister as a gift... she's obsessed with anything outer space related and her baby's nursery is nebula themed. These were a perfect addition to the nursery. My niece will have to wait a couple years to actually play with these but they are beautifully displayed on a shelf in the meantime.

These are very good blocks. We love that Pluto is included, and the sheer depth of information and thought that has gone into these are amazing. Like other reviewers, I'd love to see an expansion set with the Sun, Moon, and possibly the other dwarf planets (or meteors, asteroid belt, etc.). However, if you are getting this for a very young child, keep in mind that the edges are fairly sharp. We also have not found it to be as durable as mentioned. The child we got this for is VERY gentle with these blocks but after only a little use one is chipped and others are showing signs of wear on the paint. I think if we were playing with them daily there would be a lot more wear, and wish there was some varnish or protection of the planet drawings in particular. However to get a nice solid set of wooden blocks with extensive information (moons, position from the sun, symbol, appearance, etc.), the price was very fair. We will consider more Uncle Goose blocks for educational subjects but continue to use plain ones for any rougher everyday play.

Such beautifully crafted blocks!! Feel a little heavier than your standard blocks. The pictures are bright and vivid. I love the colors and that each side has a different picture/words. This is also a great set to gift because, it is much smaller and thus much cheaper than their other sets but, has enough for a younger child, who is just beginning to build, to enjoy. They also smell just like wood with absolutely no other funny chemical smell. I have notice that several other brands have a strong off-gassing smell when they are first opened.
