Really good for the price
This review is for the Soonpho M7 Motorized Tripod Head. When I purchased this item it was $120 usd. My rating and review is based largely on that price. For the price this gadget is awesome. I really didn't expect much but was very surprised when I put a large heavy DSLR with a zoom lens on it and it worked well. The Soonpho M7 Motorized Tripod Head pans (rotates from side to side) almost completely silently. Tilting up and down makes a noticeable noise but not terrible. It tilts up and down more slowly but pans rather quick. The remote joy stick can be used to vary the speed of the panning. Two AAA batteries came with the unit to power the remote and a USB-C cable was included to charge the onboard 18650 type battery housed inside the unit. Inserting the two included AAA batteries immediately brought the remote to life. It also immediately synced with the unit on it's own and required no extra work to begin using. It was well packaged with several layers of foam and arrived undamaged. It is not light weight. You will require a sturdy tripod. It comes with a small plate to mount it to your camera using the standard thread thumbscrew. The unit also comes with a short cord for connecting to your shutter release port on the camera although I haven't tried that. It also can apparently be programmed to follow a given path between two points which I also haven't tried using. On the body of the Soonpho M7 Motorized Tripod Head there are bubble levels to help set up. It is heavy enough to operate just sitting on a flat surface not mount to a tripod, even with a giant DSLR camera with zoom lens attached. As stated, for $120 I didn't expect much. The Soonpho M7 Motorized Tripod Head isn't perfect. It jitters slightly as the movement begins. When I say slightly, I mean very slightly. The jitter is barely noticeable in the footage, you have to look for it. It makes a little noise while tilting. But this is NOT professional motion control studio equipment. For the price the Soonpho M7 Motorized Tripod Head works well and I feel like I just hired a second camera man!

Meets All Expectations
I currently work for a company specializing in filming sporting events in various venues ranging from Basketball courts to Football Fields, some days we are left short staffed and will live stream with only a single main cam for viewers at home. Since my employer's business grew to larger partnerships with more national streaming services, I felt odd about filming singular shot sporting events at that level and decided to look into remote tripods as a "possible" optional fill-in for missing staff. Soonpho's M-4 Model is my first time working with such equipment and it's been a very positive experience thus far. The M-4 is definitely the best value for Money as it offers higher Tilt Proformance then both its M-2 and M-6 counter parts. while still allowing for smooth 360 panning. It's adjustable speed option, (while not helpful below 8 while filming sports) works on all levels when shooting solo film projects or YouTube Videos. Its compact design adapts well with most tripods and Tripod plates and offers a slight additional Height boost when filming projects in small offices, or while filming on unusual platforms such as when filming on top of a desk, etc. etc. The weight was a concern at first, but it seems to work just fine with Tripods ranging from cheaper $30 SLIK u-112 models to more expensive $130 NEEWER GM88 Tripods. I found it took no more than 30 minutes to break in and have a full understanding of how it functions, figuring out when applying what settings or course of speed will depend on what type of project you're filming and that can add up to several more hour of tinkering with it. Finally (a major selling point for me) was that it does offer more then 60 feet of real time Wireless control, I found it easily picked up my remote when sending the signal up more than 50 feet of stairs from a football field below and from one end of a 45ft wide media box to the other end, picking up the signal though, wood, dry wall and concrete. So, while not the best product when working in sports broadcasting due to its limited control speed, it's the best value model-wise, it easily adapts to various tripod models and is even easier to pick up and get a hang of it, allows for smooth Panning and offers a strong remote-control signal when needing to adjust it from a distance. While I can only really use it in sports to capture cover shots, such as team huddles, it provides my team with a secondary option when wanting to maintain a higher production value and for that it meets all expectations!

Watch your weight
This unit worked well for me for about 6 months of daily use. I just overloaded it with 3 lbs of camera equipment and it broke. Stay under the listed weight limits and you'll likely be happy.

Need not look any further for this Motorized tripod head. Reasonably priced Excellent choice
This product is a win win. It's setup is straight out user friendly. Instruction are so very clear you can't go wrong. There is virtually no gear mesh noise. The unit responds manually and with the remote instantly. No hesitation on vertical, horizontal, left and right movements(very precise) You can't go wrong with this item. Note: I do not rate a product unless it really deserves it. Just purchased other things, let's see.

Great product
Only used a couple of times, but it's good so far. Pros: Pan and tilt, two memories. Face tracking is only good for a single person. Cons: Remote is chunky.

Motorized rotating camera device
The unit is awesome and works well. However, the instructions are very sparse, and you should go online to get more detailed instructions.

Directions on remote faulty.
It appears to be chinese made. Only problem is directions on the remote. Up is Down, Down is Up. Left is Right and Right is Left. Battery life is good. Not heavy and seems sturdy. I would request a refund but its not worth the hassle. I strongly suggest, do not buy this item.

Good remote control, but...
This seems like a good solid unit. I don't recommend it for pans & tilts while recording. It's not smooth enough for a "pro" look, but not to be expected at this price point. It would be nice if it was geared down more. I use it to pre-position a 2nd camera on live shoots. Only the slowest speed gives decent control. Even then I'm having to go back & forth to end up framed where I want. I discovered the hard way that tilt level 1 is not a good idea. I lost control in the middle of a shoot. (Pressing up or down just caused a slight wiggle). Tilt level 2 works consistently though. (But again, less fine control than I prefer)

Awesome product - using it for the past 2years
This mobile holder offers impressive functionality. The rotation is incredibly smooth, making it easy to find the perfect viewing angle. I was also pleased with the remote's impressive range, allowing for effortless control. Delivery was surprisingly quick and hassle-free import to India. A great purchase overall, I highly recommend it!
