Purina Puppy Chow Dry Dog Food, Complete, Chicken Flavor, 4.4 Lb Bag

For those of us with somewhat picky dog food eaters finding a well received dog food can be a challenge. Our dog definably has a choice of what is eaten and it has taken some time to get him to eat any food. Considering his breed, which has a reputation for overeating and eating anything this dog is the odd dog out. However, I decided to try this with him and to my surprise he is eating it. He was not sure in the beginning but he took to it within a day. I did gradually add it to his diet as not to shock his system and end up with the runs as I know that can happen with some dogs. This dog seems to have an iron stomach when it comes to new foods but no reason to take a chance, or maybe that it because the new foods are not eaten at lot to start IF AT ALL - LOL Personally I like the purina brand, tried and true long time brand and it has good ingredients. Overall I am pleased with the product

This is the only dry dog food my four spoiled dogs will eat. If I try any other food, it just dits in the bowl and they won’t eat it. They all are small dogs and love their puppy chow.

I feed this to my 14 year old Schnauzer. He has dental issues so I like that the kibbles are small enough for him to eat. It's high in protein and my senior pup doesn't seem to have digestive issues. He seems to really like it.

Expensive and took a long time to get

It’s hard to rate flavor, etc. of course since I don’t eat it! But my puppy is a Maltese and less than 4 pounds. Publix now carries only the giant sizes so I was thrilled to find out I could get the small package from Amazon!

My dog did not like it at all. .still here.... puppy and dog chow is what I've always used with my dogs
