Essentials of Geology

I loved the way this was written. The pictures were great and knowledgeable! It was required for class but if you like beginning geology information this is a great book!

Absolutely everything you would want to build your foundation in geology/ geosciences - illustrations. end of chapter review and photographs best I’ve seen in any book

I got this book for $30 with tax included. I thought it would be crappy book but it’s actually very decent book . No water marks only had like bending of the pages but that’s okay . The quality is better than I was expecting for a $30 book. ( submit pics later)

very good for college courses

I bought this used. The only thing wrong with this is that the cover shows some wear. Despite that, the pages are all intact and there's no writing. This textbook goes new for $130 at my school, so a textbook with a worn cover for $30 is totally worth it.This also came way earlier than expected!

So its q text book. It functions and does its job as a textbook, but it's nothing fascinating. I'm giving it 3 stars only because it was delivered to me in an envelope and when Iopened it, I noticed that whoever had it before me sliced the back cover open. I'm writing this review because i dont want to get charged for something i didnt do. I never open boxes with knives for fear that this might happen. Yes folks, I'm a rare breed that takes time to RIP tape off boxes.

This book saved my life, I was not ready to pay $100 for the actual book. This is great and affordable even if it’s $30 less

The book has seen better days but I am returning it at the end of the semester so it doesn't matter. I attached a picture of what you get for a code. Very useful!

This is great if you're a student on a budget. Keep in mind the textbook will arrive in used condition, about the same condition you'd find a textbook at the public library in, which is expected as it is a fraction of the price of a brand new one.

Nobody will be writing a new introductory geology book, because this one now exists. It helps me to move from a plain numerical mathematician into somebody capable of applying this knowledge to geology.
