Jesse is a awesome alpha!
This series is all about acceptance, family, forgiveness, personal growth, and love. Here we see Jesse's extroidinarely big and loving heart.

Another solid one
Not my favorite entry in the series, but it does introduce some cool new characters. I feel like these are a little shorter than the books in the first trilogy. They are still good reads though. Pretty solid HFN ending. (Don’t worry. Any tension is from plot development, not relationship troubles.)As a side note I really wish we had more than the tiniest hint of Sean’s powers developing. I feel like I would have liked more of Sean in general. But this whole second trilogy seems to focus on our main characters from the first trilogy more than the development of their relationships. Not a bad thing necessarily. I just feel like our love interests are getting the short end of the stick.

Delightful
Love how the bigger story is unfolding. I’m so glad that we get to return to these characters that we met earlier.

Another great read by this author in this series
Another great read by this author in this series. Jesse and Sean are living together and trouble is still on the horizon for them and the people of Rowan Arbor. Jesse is now Alpha of the down and despite his misgivings, he is settling into his role as keeper of his pack. Sean is still recovering from the death of his mother and Sean is worried about him. Strangers come to the town and another letter lands on the desk of the mayor.stirring things up even more. This series is well worth reading as it has the gentleness and violence that combines to make a great story.

A leeeeeetle bit predictable
So this was a bit of a predictable outcome. Reminds me of when they say people project their moves before they make them? Kinda like that for me here... you kinda know what’s gonna happen later the moment something pops up.But I like bits and pieces of this story so it got rounded up to 4 stars, especially the bit at the end ☺️ Jesse isn’t my favourite character in this series but he’s aight 🙃

Another wonderful visit to Rowan Harbor
So glad to have spent more time in Rowan Harbor! I love this series and it is always a treat when a new Sam Burns novel comes out, especially one set in Rowan Harbor. As others have suggested, and I strongly agree that starting to read with book one, Blackbird in the Reeds will add to the reader's enjoyment and understanding.Stag and Ash felt short but introduced us to new characters and fleshed out Jesse some more. Intriguing questions were raised and I can't wait until the next book to see what will happen next.

Nice series
Jesse and Sean are living together. Jesse stressing about the expectations of the roll as Rowan Harbors to be alpha and about his role in Sean's mothers death. Sean is still reeling from losing his mother. Everybody knows something bad is coming, they just don't know what. Into this tense situation walk three young wolves. Again, Jesse’s perceived problem. Slowly getting overwhelmed he worries he's just not enough. This seemed like a very short story. Can't really say much about it without giving away the whole plot. There was a scene with Oak, who although isn't one of the lead characters, is my favorite. The series keeps building. Adding bits and pieces to the myth that is Rowan Harbor.

Great one
I definitely loved this better than Jesse and Sean's first story, Wolf and the Holly. This time Jesse and Sean are 'established couple' -- I wasn't happy with the instant-love in Wolf and the Holly -- plus there is more emotional situation with Sean after the previous book.
