Legends Gamer Mini

I have the full size model from this company in my living room and give these out to friends and family. The unit itself can easily be modified to play up to PS1, Dreamcast, and PSP games. The remote is a bluetooth unit so you can use it to play fighting games and things on your console or computer. We built a stand for this model and use it with a projector outside when BBQing. It's battery powered and bluetooth so no need for wires. Very cool deivce if you want a bit more than an emulator on your computer.

I can't complain. I ordered this little unit to hook up to my TV, but they sent me the standup console with the built-in screen instead. BurgerTime works great, and that's really all I was buying it for, which is a good thing, because most of the other games look like old junk.

I was so excited to share my childhood games with my son. I purchased this device and out of the box I had issues with the controller. They replaced it just to have the puck stop working 6 months later. Now the window is closed to return of have contact with the seller. Very unhappy 😭 with this purchase. The fact that I can't contact them for help with my issues is horrible. This is the reason for this review.

I received the Atgames Legends Gamer Mini for Christmas. I find the build quality of the stick to be quite good. The buttons and joystick are not arcade quality but they're good and work well with every game I've tried. I was less enamored with what Atgames refers to as the "streaming console" that you play the games on. I refer to it as the hockey puck. The games are just fine and play as you'd expect with good emulation. But unless you are willing to expend some energy figuring out CoinOpsX, FlashX and other tools for adding new games it's just a meh experience. I had a much better time with it when I realized that as a bluetooth controller I could use it with a Raspberry Pi running Retropie. This turned out to be a blast and it's the only way I use it now. Is it worth the price for just a stick? Maybe. As previously stated it's solid and seems like a good candidate for mods.

Keeps disconnecting from the control board and freezing. Did update as suggested and did not seem to make a difference. Giving it a few more tries before sending it back. So disappointed as this was the star Christmas gift for a handicapped individual that was really looking forward to it. Cool idea if it worked.

ich habe diese kleine Arcade Konsole gekauft um auch direkt am Monitor oder Beamer damit Arcade Spiele spielen zu können ohne großen PC und genau das macht es auch. Als Plus kann der Controller auch mit anderen Konsolen per Bluetooth repaired werden und funktioniert dann als Arcade Stick.

Reçu dans une boite abimée sur le coté (pourtant l'emballage Amazon n'avait rien) ce qui veut dire que l'on m'a sélectionné le carton le plus abimé que l'on pouvait m'envoyer. Bon bref. Le produit en lui-même n'avait rien c'est ce qui compte au final. Au déballage, la base du stick avait une bosse dans un coin, le responsable était une vis serrée tenant le vinyle serrée trop fort. J'ai donc tenté de la dévisser un peu mais en faisant cette opération, de la poussière de bois est sortie en même temps que la vis. Ce qui veut dire que je n'avais plus de matière pour tenir la vis en place ... Donc j'ai commandé de la résine époxy pour refaire l'intérieur d'un trou devenu trop grand. Vive la Chine et ses surprises! Par curiosité j'ai dévissé l'autre vis et devinez? Elle était de longueur différente. Comme c'est bizarre ... bon bref ça avait été rafistolé en usine pour tenir le temps de le vendre au consommateur (moi en l'occurrence) On continue, le stick repose sur 4 patins, bien sur le mien est arrivé bancal il tenait sur la table et basculait quand on touchait un coin. Je sais très bien qu'il est fait à la base pour poser sur les genoux mais bon encore une fois ça ne fait pas très sérieux. J'ai donc enlevé les patins incriminés pour leur ajouter de l'épaisseur à l'aide de ruban adhésif double face (plusieurs couches). Maintenant c'est droit posé sur une table il ne bascule plus mais encore une fois pour arriver à ce résultat j'ai du le réparer. Une fois le pas de vis refait, la base qui repose sur ses pattes et je ne sais pas encore quelle surprise qui m'attends à venir j'aurais peut-être enfin le produit que j'aurais du recevoir au départ. Je le garde car il est le troisième article que j'ai eu suite à deux autres retours (pas le même produit, des consoles Anbernic RG351M avec des défauts de dalle) car je ne veux pas me faire prendre en grippe par Amazon qui vont finir par me prendre pour un gars qui retourne les articles trop souvent. Je mets quand même 3 étoiles car malgré cela le stick a l'air très correct, les boutons cliquent bien ça serait dommage de passer à coté à cause de petits ennuis comme ceux que j'ai pu avoir. Ah oui j'oubliais le cable HDMI fourni est ridiculement minuscule (environ 30 cm) alors prenez bien cela en compte lors de l'achat. Le transformateur fourni sert à recharger le stick ET alimenter la base circulaire fournie. Donc à chaque fois il vous faudra débrancher l'un pour basculer sur l'autre. Prévoyez donc un autre transformateur de 5V 2A lors de l'achat. Surtout que la recharge du stick prend 5 heures !

Absolutely brilliant slab of real arcade - superb buttons and stick on a beautiful arcade control deck, feels and plays just like the arcades. Amazing build quality and the 100 games run superbly from the mini circular console. You can add more arcade and Sega Mega Drive games or link into the arcade net service and play even more classics. Excellent emulation too. Really love this machine as does my daughter!!! A love letter to the glory days of arcades from the 80s and 90s. Buy it!!!
