This item arrived safe and well packaged.This is a pair of lovely compact garden crooks. After noticing a few comments, I thought it was important to point out the size of these. They are exactly the size I was looking for - I wanted some small holders to hang some little lanterns from. These look gorgeous in the flower beds and add a great amount of style!The strength of these is perfectly suited to the size. They will hold a lantern perfectly capably, but I would certainly not even attempt to hang a full hanging basket on them - that is just not what this product is for!These little hooks do exactly what they have been designed to do, and I am more than pleased with the results! As I continue to overhaul my garden I will be back to purchase more of these for the other flower beds.I highly recommend this product.

We wanted a couple of hangers to attach our solar lanterns to, in the garden and these shepherds hooks looked just what I was looking for. They arrive as three metal poles that screw together to create the strong hanging structure, a hook on the top end, and a fork shaped part at the other end that is pushed into the soil.Thankfully they have a rust proof coating, as the weather has been awfully wet recently; and they are strong enough to hold up a handled pot, or the lantern lights, we have.Good value, strong structures, very pleased, just what we wanted, happy to recommend.

These are ok, but putting them together I found the screws into the holes were difficult to tighten, whatever way I tried they wouldn't completely screw down to the end. A little on the flimsy side, smaller than I realised (I know the measurements are on the ad!) and they are ok for the job, but not exactly what I expected. I thought they would be sturdier.

These are very good for lights but would not hold a flower basket as shown in the picture .

If only zero star reviews were possible! I've had some tat delivered from Amazon Marketplace sellers before but this is easily the worst item ever! Not withstanding the fact that it arrived broken - one of the bayonets had a chunk snapped off - this is a flimsy, ridiculously short piece of junk.Don't be fooled by the fact that there's two of them. They arrive as a kit, 2 hooks, 4 short length of tube and two bayonets, which you screw together to make two poles. However, if you want to use both of them, the flower basket will probably be brushing the ground - mine had a 2 inch ground clearance. You could do what I then tried, use all four lengths of tube to make one taller hook, but then the flimsy tubes just meant the weight of the pot almost bent the pole to the ground. I hung my tiny flower basket off it and it bent alarmingly under the modest weight of the pot.You get what you pay for of course, but even at £6.99 this is not what I'd expected to receive.On the upside, if you have a cat, you could hang a bird feeder from them and you'd have the perfect cat feeder!
