happybeds Ottoman Bed, Rodley Oak Wooden Ottoman Storage Bed in 2 Sizes and 4 Mattress Options (5FT - Frame Only, Oak)

I absolutely love the look of this bed. Was easy enough to put together with the instructions. Loads of storage for bedding underneath.

This was a great bed to start with, fairly easy to put together but you definitely need 2 people. We've now had the bed 1.5 years and the hinge for the ottoman part as ripped out of the side after normal use.Happy Beds have a 5 year manufacturing guarantee on their website but because we ordered this via THEIR Amazon store, they are refusing to honour this and quoting Amazon's 1 year guarantee which we are JUST over. Upon speaking to an Amazon representitive this is not right for an expensive bed to break after 1.5 years and since the order was fulfilled through Happy Beds it SHOULD be covered by them as the manufactuer and not Amazon but we are sadly stuck just having to find a way to fix it ourselves. Not great.

Bought this bed and put it up great looking bed, really good price, unfortunately it had some hardware faults which left it unusable. I contacted Happy Beds and they were excellent at providing me with a resolution for the issue, providing me with options. Thank you for the fast resolve.

The instructions are clear, the pieces are easy to assemble! Don’t worry if the frame doesn’t go down at first, put the mattress on top and it will then have enough weight to use the gas piston.Love the wood tone, the storage underneath is spacious!!

Very sturdy, good quality bed, we chose the orthopedic mattress to go with it, and our teenager loves it.

For this money you would expect the bed to survive at least a year. The screws are not holding at all. Last frame costed £150 and we had it for 10 years. Open once a week only.I’ve never had such a rubbish furniture. After 8 months I’m in search again for new frame.
