Purchased this extension lead for the rear view mirror camera because of the advice of Amazon when I made the order for the camera.My small sports car, however didn't need it, so I simply returned the lead for a full refund.If the camera and accompanying leads are anything to go by, the extension will be of good quality and work seamlessly with the system.I imagine most cars, like mine, would not require this lead. But if you're impatient and don't want to risk waiting a couple more days to be up and running, order it and simply return if not required.

Don't bother unless your driving a very long vehicle. I mean VERY long.

this is a long term solution for the dashcam
