It's a face fan and it blows air over your face.I use it after a long cycle ride to the office where I find it hard to cool down, despite a 15 minute shower. I pop it on for about 10 to 15 mins and it certainly helps. Definitely recommended if you are still hot after any exercise.Good points:-looks like headphones so people don't give you funny stares-fairly quiet, similar to hand-held battery fan (you can hear it but other people aren't likely to notice unless close by)-different power levels and easy control button-genuinely helps me cool down-feels well made despite the price-No danger of them falling off-you can use them when folded to cool other areas if you want to-no problems using it for lots of activities (gardening, household work etc)Could improve:-the air blows from below so doesn't really get your full face (but doesn't get in the eyes either so maybe a good design)-no air blows round the back of your head-quieter would be better of course-you need to put them on the correct way so have to look for the little R and L symbols (maybe they could be more obvious?)-not suitable for wearing while running etc as it will bounce aroundIf this one breaks, I will happily buy another one.

I can’t believe how lovely and cooling this is although it is quite noisy. It has 3 speeds and only needed to put it on the first one. I like white noise though so it didn’t bother me and I actually fell asleep with it on.Great product for this heat and really good price too.Edit: Unfortunately the charger wire came apart a week later and the headphones making a funny noise now. Can’t get help from Amazon after certain time.

Suffer with a neurological disease where I’m unable to regulate my temperature.Bought this for travelling, in house or times where a normal fan isn’t possible to use. 3 different speeds, foldable which is great.

Does the job, keeping you cool but fan quite noisey.

Lightweight and comfortable. User friendly controls and I really like the fact the air blows through your hair from base of your neck but it doesn’t blow your hair all over the place.

not as powerful as I had hoped, lightweight, battery seems ok. cheaper than most of the other models, so I gave it a try. if you want a portable fan and do not want to spend too much I would recommend this one,
