On sale today at $9.59 for one or $13.59 for two!
This is a nicely made thermometer with a long probe. Unfortunately, I bought it when it was more expensive at $10.79, but it's another 11% off or so today at $9.59 for one or $13.59 for two. It's so well made that I should have gotten the two pack. The red dial is nice if it's a feature you want. There are other deep fry thermometers that area slightly cheaper, especially comparing the full price, but it looks like this one has the most reviews.

Accuracyngreatlyndepends on the depth of the tip.
I really liked the fact that this thermometer was nice and long. That helped a lot. The clip was almost useless. I am using this device with a stainless steel deep pot. The clip forces the tip of the thermometer to rest against the side of the pan which destroys accuracy. Had to put some parchment paper in the clip to force the tip to the center of the pan. The temperature was wildey inaccurate until I pulled the 5up almost to the top of the liquid. Not sure why this one seems to register so much hotter than 9ther thermometers. Overall for the price it is ok. I would probably 5ry a different brand next time. L

Have used it 3 times so far to fry up some Zucchini flowers and it worked beautifully everytime. Will recommend to family and friends.

I like its accuracy and the length as I do my deep frying in a very deep stock pot.

Good for use as advertised. The scales are a bit difficult to read also it reads about 5degree C too high. not a big drawback but nevertheless not 5 stars.
