Buying price 6531 Rupees, Buying month October 2016"####" Writing Review after 3 months of moderate to extensive usage "####"Over All review:A good all round mixer blender with good build quality of food grade plastic and some very good features, A stylish addition to home, the ABS unit which holds the motor is very sturdy and good design to absorb vibration, being my 3rd Preethi product, we now have immense trust for their products, now coming to our observation jar by jar.Master Chef Jar:This is the main attraction for us to buy this product, it totally didn't disappointed us, Very well built jar, We minced meat, grated onions, juicee orange, all perfectly done, there atta kneader is a revelation, we get very well kneaded atta if procedure rightly followed. Slicers we are still to use looks it will also work well.0.5 Litre Chtney Jar:Most frequently used jar, felt it's spaciously designed, grinding chutney and other items were smooth, and handle was also very sturdy.Juicer Jar :We used both centrifugal Jar and blender juice, centrifugal though good will be quite a challenge to clean after use and have to be handled with care during cleaning, blender juicer was good and does its job.1 Litre Dry Jar:Grinded masala and roasted coffee beans with it, masala grinded was smooth, Coffee was of Turkish coffee consistency, I expected it to be very fine of filter coffee consistency, nevertheless good Jar.2L Jar :Still to use, we will update as and when we use.Cons :1) Though not very noisy, but certain task like atta kneading may product a loud noise.2) Some accessories in master Chef Jar like Citrus juicer feel plasticy, doubt if it's food grade.3) Cleaning master Chef Jar sometimes quite a challenge.Overall a very good addition to kitchen, you will take quite some time to use all its features.

Looked like it was a stock which was kept for display. I quickly repacked it and returned it. I advice buyers to careully inspect the package and choose sellers accordinglyProduct review:~~~~~~~~~~~I ordered Preethi Zodiac with the confidence as it was already doing some good job in my houe for a long while (more than 6 years). This product I ordered considering some of the ease of use such as Citrus Juicer, Atta kneading, etc. Some of the key features are listed below>> Unit comes with various spares, mainly 3 jars (Dry, Wet, Chuttney), Citru juicer, Pulpy Juicer unit with blender blades, Atta kneading>> Unit has about 3 feet of power cord, requires normal 5A socket>> Overload LED and normal load LED>> 3 speed with one pulse function>> Kneads atta in about 1-2 minutes easily>> Juicer is good for pulpy fruits only>> Sound is not loud, less than Blueleaf!>> 5 years warranty for motor only, 2 years for other spares>> Almost all parts of the units are able to remove easily for cleaning (Esp Juicer, Chef jar, blades)>> Made in India, ChennaiJuicer Review:~~~~~~~~~~~The juicer comes with two blades, Juicer blade and Blender blade. The juicer blade is strictly for Pulpy and watery fruits such as Pineapple, Watermelon, Pomegranate, etc. While you can use blender to juice other fruits or even Beetroot, Carrots. The juicer unit is handly, the juicer blade however is very limited to pulpy fruits and you CANNOT use it for Carrot!. If you want to extract from carrot or beetroot or amla type vegetables, buy Juicer-mixer such as Philips Viva series. The Citrus extractor is another plastic unit which sits on top of the Chef unit (Food processor) with which you can easily extract juice unlike juicer. This is handy. The Juicer extractor unit is also very helpful when you try buttermilk from curd and also handy for extracting coconut milk!.Food Processor (Chef Jar)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It is wrong to call this food processor, but it does some of the job such as Atta kneading, Chopping or slicing the vegetables. This is done using three blades, one for atta and two for chopping/slicing. The blades are VERY SHARP, handle it wth care!. The choppoing requires usually only few pulses. It is able to chop carrots, beetroots or cocounts very easily. I have not seen it stuck. however the vegetables need to be first cut in to small peices. Overall don't expect this to satisfiy as food processor, these are just few extras you get. Didn't try meat slicing yet. We are able to knead up to 4 cups of flour, but the manual says up to 6 is possible. 1 cup is for 3-4 chapathis. You need to reduce the water little bit less than what manual says, else it will be very stickyRegular mixie purpose~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We tried the other three jars, they performed well for chutney as well as for batter. The mixie as usually heats up after continuous runs. So you must wait for it to cool, else your batter will not be good!. We did not observe any fault in this 1 month of usage. MostNegatives:~~~~~~~~1. Cleaning of the chef jar esp after atta kneading is a mess2. Shakes when kneading atta vigorously. Does not glue well on floorFinal verdict:~~~~~~~~~~Overal, we are happy and no complaints. Though we will not be using all of this, but atta kneading is very handly right now, esp you can now safely add hot water and start keanding which was not possible with hand. I recommend this product but only if you plan to use this functions. Don't buy if you look for advanced juicer-mixer or food processor, this is just doing basic job of those. Excellent quality, high speed, easy to function,easy to carry, excellent grinding,more jar capacity, high durability, but noise is high.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly I received the damaged master chef jar, later I got replaced with a new product. But in the second received faced lot of problems and I ensure product is not worth for its price of Rs 13,283/-The good thing about the product is Dicing and Atta Kneading. While Atta Kneading thin film of oil or gee to be applied in the jar circumference or sides and stem to avoid sticking of flour.This review after 12 days of usages later returned product.First problem is the machine produces a lot of noise which is more irritating, and when using a master chef jar the noise will increase due to gear arrangement. This u can hear from video or understand when u use it. Even recent Engines produce less noise than this mixer.Secondly, the mixer jars get overheated so that it can't be touched with bare hands, within 1 min of dry grinding. I have uploaded a grinding video of turmeric to see the vapour coming out of the jar. This happened within 1.5 min of grinding fresh turmeric pcs, and not the half grinded turmeric.Next I would like to share abt juicer jar. It is not working as expected. It is wasting a lot of fruit pulp, which can't be borne by a salaried person. It is also not so easy to extract coconut milk as I have seen almost in all Youtube Videos. It took 30 to 40 min to extract one jar capacity and that too not completely, same lot of pulp left, then I grind in another jar and squeeze it with a filter as usual. It is not so helpful as per me, instead increasing the job, but as a buyer u can decide for u.Finally if u plan to buy a food processor, u can better choose other products than Zodiac. It's not worth the money as it was displayed in front of us, the manufacturer has to do improvements on their product and improve its quality.
