I bought the chrome gold shell, chrome red buttons + bumpers + triggers, and (this item) the chrome red analog rings. Everything looks amazing together. The rings were SUPER easy to install. Seriously the easiest between those 3 items.

These look great on the black Elite controller. And are easy to install once you figure out how to take your controller apart. Be careful not to break your controller shell trying to take it off. There is a screw under the sticker on top middle of the controller that needs to come out.

Let me start off by saying, I was a little unsure about spending $11 on these rings, but I am glad I did. They look absolutely gorgeous with my custom face plate also from Extremerate (not to sound like a commercial. Lol)I guess I probably should've realized from the picture, but I didn't realize this was a set of 2 rings, as in 4 total. I was thinking 2 total. This makes me feel a lot better about the price since it means I have a couple backups in case something happens. I also appreciate that it comes with a torx screwdriver and pry tools. I already had both fo these things, but it's never a bad thing to have extras just in case and it's nice for those who don't already have them.Oh, it's also worth noting to anyone looking at this that is unsure about taking apart their elite controller that you can actually remove the rings without unscrewing anything, so if you're shying away because of that, feel free to just go for it. It's a little thing that can really help make your elite controller your own.

One of the four were broken when I got it, but still had three others to use. Over all it was good, it fit well.

I must say purchasing this item began when one of the thumbsticks of my elite controller broke and I had to disassemble it in hopes of fixing it. Lucky me, I managed to get it back in shape thanks to a small drop of impact glue. Since I had to void Microsoft's 90-day "warranty" (I bought the controller almost two years ago), I decided to buy these golden accent rings and profile button to add some personal touch to it. Think it as a bandaid or a scar after a serious life-threatening surgery. Installing it is very easy:1. Remove paddles, thumbsticks and d-pad inserts. Remove battery cover and batteries.2. Using the pry tool or a credit card, work your way into the edge of the grip panels from the back to remove them both. Side panels are attached with a piece of tape, so firmly open them but with patience.3. With the Torx-8 screwdriver, remove all 5 screws from the back of the controller (2 on the edge of the grips, 2 on the top and one under the sticker in the battery cover).4. Remove the front faceplate of the controller and pry the black rings out to replace them with the new ones. Be careful with the profile button, since it will be loose when the controller faceplate is removed.5. Reinsert the profile button and the faceplate with the new rings, assemble the screws back and the grip handles.6. Done! :)My only complaint: the T-8 screwdriver included in the kit is garbage. I would buy a better T-8 to work with those screws easily. Other than that, very happy to boast about my elite controller... until it dies again.

The rings are nice and fit great in the elite series 2 but the button doesn't work for the series 2

Not much to say. They fit the controller and no issues with the joysticks sticking, and they have full range of motion. Good product

I bought this for the Elite Series 2 controller, and can confirm the middle start button isn't compatible. It sits way to tight in the hole of the body, so if you click it, it gets stuck being pressed.The rings work perfectly and are easy to apply. The golden shine is pretty much exactly as shown in the picture.The tutorial is digital in video form and fairly comprehensive.3/5 because the unfitting button. Do like the look of the rings though.

As someone how likes to customize things, these are great. Easy to install and look great.
