Quit working after less than a full season
I purchased in July, 2022 and used it this week (April 2023), and it refuses to work after doing all the troubleshooting. After paying over $1000.00 for it as I absolutely loved my Aquabot, I thought this may be well worth the money. Keep in mind, REVA bought out Aquabot, which is why I decided to go with this product.Boy was I wrong and should have gone with the one named after that other word for porpoise from the late 1960's or 1970's television show.I was never thrilled with the catchment system on REVA, however I used it and tolerated it. There is something about the cloth that seemed to catch finer materials better. Oh well. I lived with it reluctantly. What one cannot live with is it will not climb stairs like the Auqabot Classic did at the pool entry. When this one gets to ladders, it almost wants to get stuck whick leaves one racing to turn it off.I'm literally babysitting a pool cleaner - what a waste of my time. The dang thing died this week with no warning after less than one pool season! I planned the funeral by boxing it up and thanking sweet Jesus for the extended warranty I usually NEVER buy.As I said, luckily, I paid for an extended warranty, and Amazon is taking care of the issue. Based on this product, I wish the company left a perfectly great design like the Aquabot Classic alone. These are definitely not improvements. Also, time is money and when chlorine costs so much right now, waiting for this unit to travel back to wherever it belongs and getting my other one AFTER Amazon acknowledges my return and refunds my money on my account I'll have to wait for the delivery of the new unit. By then, I'll REALLY need the it.Bottom line... don't waste your money.

this is the best pool cleaner
In short, this is the best pool cleaner I've ever hired. It’s always on time, gets the job done, and never complains—qualities you don’t find often! After a year of service, it's still going strong, and I’d absolutely hire this robotic marvel again. If you want the details, keep reading; otherwise, just buy one now. You won't regret it after using it a few times. The robot took about 5 cleaning cycles to get acquainted with our pool. Bigger pools might take a little longer for the robot to learn the ropes, but once it does, it’s like having a tiny aquatic butler. The double filter picks up even the smallest particles, and after a few cycles, it will have cleaned even the messiest of pools. It maneuvers well but occasionally gets stuck in tight spots. Fortunately, our pool’s fancy corners are the exception, not the rule. When it gets jammed, just give it a gentle nudge, and it’ll be back to work in no time. The electric cord is as tough as they come, handling harsh chemicals. The pool cleaner even zigzags the entire pool multiple times without getting tangled. For optimal performance, I suggest cleaning the filters often. I rinse them after every cycle, even if there’s barely anything in there. It’s super easy, just a quick rinse. This cleaner does an amazing job scrubbing the pool walls and waterline, even in the deep end. It spares your pool filter. The electric pool cleaner powers through the dirt if you leave it alone and regularly empty the waste bin.The instruction manual is quite helpful… please read it for optimal use, and techniques. Now, for the not so upsides: 1) Sometimes the hatch to the filter compartment pops open during a cleaning cycle, but a bit of waterproof tape does the trick. 2) Lifting it out of the water can be tricky; it’s like a waterlogged dance partner, but with practice, you’ll manage. 3) It sometimes looks like it’s dancing or swimming sideways during a cleaning cycle, but no worries, it self-corrects if left alone. 4) It occasionally gets jammed in tight spots, but hey, what device doesn’t? 5) It seems to have a vendetta against cleaning pool stairs. Our stairs are in a fancy formation with tight corners and need manual brushing, so this is not a problem for us; and sweeping the stairs is super easy. 6) Expect bigger pools to require several cleaning cycles to get a sparkling clean pool. 7) there is an app for the device, however, like with all apps and their related devices, don’t expect miracles. It works well enough if you are in proximity to the device.Overall, it’s a powerhouse cleaner that just needs a little space to do its thing! Best “pool cleaning man” that we have run across over the years ;)

Not bad not great
I had an Aquabot for 18 years so figured I would stick with it. Love the new basket it’s so much easier to clean. App is ok but Bluetooth doesn’t stay connected if you are trying to manually maneuver the robot. Leaves the floor when it goes from the low end to deep end making me think the suction is not always on. Doesn’t clean as well as my old one it misses all the corners. Also they still haven’t figured out the cord so it’s still a pain to wrap up since it gets twisted. Thinking about returning it

Do half bottom of my pool and no wall
I think it has a design issue. It's only cleaning half of my bottom pool, and not doing any walls.Often, in the middle bottom of the pool it move up it's front to 90 degree like it was on a wall, but no wall even close... Like if the weight in front of it was not enough to keep it stable on the floor considering the power of it's motor and the water moving below it.Even the Dolphin Sigma which has also gyroscope still use some kind of stabilizer handle. I think there is no design that can work without that. Some positive, very easy to remove and clean the filter basket. However, they almost look symmetric but they are not, so I often have to flip them to fit correctly. Since they are basket, they can hold themselve on the floor when I wash the dirty stuff, so that I don't need to be close and be splash. The cord doesn't seem to have an anti twisting mechanism, but didn't seem to be a problem. The computer could alternate between turning left and right to avoid any problem. This only work with bluetooth, meaning you need be close to it to be able to use the app on your phone. The app suppose to let you move it where you want like left, right, top, bottom, but it's totally not working right, it's garbage. It's kind of silly, when $20 toys always do a better job...The warranty is not always clear on this device, but what I received written from the package was bumper to bumper for a full 2 years.I'm returning it to get back my money.
